Which is better, the book or the movie? I would have to argue that the movie is better. I would say this because it’s better to see everything that’s going on, see Mitty himself, and to not have to think and create the picture in your mind. Like, I just think it’s a lot better seeing the movie and the picture of his daydreams rather than having to read them and having it be up to me to imagine what’s going on. I enjoyed the movie better because there was a lot more going on. There were more daydreams and I liked seeing the situation with eHarmony. There was much more excitement in the movie than there was in the book that, just had just explained the daydreams and his wife nagging about the hairdresser. I also like how in the movie they
This is my view on the movie and book. I likes the movie better the book because the
The books, A Wrinkle in Time and And Then There Were None, both have many differences in the movie versions. The directors of both movies change the plot to make the movie see fit to what they may have imaged the book to be, while still keeping the story line the same.
I like the reading book better than watching the movie because there are more facts in the book than the movie. Maybe I just like reading books better than watching movies. That’s my opinion. What’s yours (if you’ve read the book and seen the movie)?
There are many differences and similarities in the short story of “A Sound of Thunder” and the movie.
Both book and movie capture good moments and ideas of Esquivel. I would say the book was more entertaining and memorable for me. The novel never rests or drags on, and although it evolves around many tragedies a dying love and lovers, in the end you truly feel happy for the way things turn to be. So does the movie, the end of it is very powerful, I might have not got attached to its characters but I fell in love with the magical fairy tale and romance of Like Water For Chocolate.
In conclusion, details involving the characters and symbolic meanings to objects are the factors that make the novel better than the movie. Leaving out aspects of the novel limits the viewer’s appreciation for the story. One may favor the film over the novel or vice versa, but that person will not overlook the intense work that went into the making of both. The film and novel have their similarities and differences, but both effectively communicate their meaning to the public.
The film and writing industry go hand in hand, as they often inspire one another. As a result, the translation of many novels into movie format and vice versa vary in success. For instance, many people prefer the film format over the novel since it is usually less time consuming and requires less active participation. However, films tend to overlook significant details which assist the viewer's understanding of the story. Therefore, the two separate forms of media have too many differences to portray the same work of fiction accurately, as they both have their pros and cons that appeal to different types of stories and plots. Numerous changes in the movie adaptation of the novel, A Separate Peace by John Knowles, affected the viewer’s interpretation
A Comparison A Sound of Thunder by Ray Bradbury and The Star by H.G. Wells
I will tell how the Call of the Wild book is different than the movie and how the movie is different than the book.As well as contrasting I will also compare them. The movie was extremely different than the book. There were so many different things, I can't explain, but I am. The movie and the book were opposite in some parts. There were so many same things too.
Overall, the movie and book have many differences and similarities, some more important than others. The story still is clear without many scenes from the book, but the movie would have more thought in it.
The book and the movie were both very good. The book took time to explain things like setting, people’s emotions, people’s traits, and important background information. There was no time for these explanations the movie. The book, however, had parts in the beginning where some readers could become flustered.
One thing that can make a book good is characters. In the book, there were many more animals in the farm. The movie did not show many animals except for the main animals. Even thought this is a small difference, it can be noticeable. In the book, Mollie was a character.
From reading the book and watching the movie, I think the book was more insightful, but the movie was more entertaining. The only problem with the movie is that you don't know what is going through Chance's mind and his background information. The movie does help make some things clearer by seeing it, instead of just picturing it in your mind. The added scenes in the movie helps to put some humor into the story and make it more entertaining. By just watching the movie, some people could be confused if they don't know some background on Chance. I think that by reading the book, you can understand the story better and by watching the movie you can enjoy the story better.
Have you ever read a book and then watched the movie and saw many differences? Well you can also find lots of similarities. In the book “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and the movie “Tom and Huck” there are many similarities and differences having to do with the characters personalities, the setting, the characters relationships with one another and the events that take place.
"Books and movies are like apple and oranges. They both are fruit, but taste completely different.” said Stephen King (goodreads.com). It is indeed true, books and movies have several common things and yet have differences. They both give us the same story, but are viewed completely different. Reading books and watching movies are similar as they both tell a story and give details and information about the story. Reading books or watching movies gives the reader and the viewer the same feeling and emotions about the story. People can feel gloomy or pleased with the story after reading a book or watching a movie. Both books and movies have the same general concepts, which are the themes and main characters of
