Did you know that Biggie Smalls and Tupac Shakur were some of the best famous Hip Hop Artist in the 1900’s. Reading my paper should matter to you because the history of hip hop is fascinating to learn about and there are little things that will surprise you. Biggie Smalls and Tupac Shakur were some of the two known Hip Hop artists. When you read my essay be prepared to read about Legend Hip Hop Artists that made History and great music. My essay will tell you about them and what they did to get where they were.

One of the first hip hop group was “The Sugarhill Gang”. They made the first hip hop song called "Rapper's Delight" in 1979.Some of the biggest hip hop artists are “The Notorious B.I.G” known as “Biggie Smalls”, “Tupac Shakur” known as “Tupac” and exc. Most hip hop songs are about violence because of the things that the artist has gone through. Most likely is from a bad childhood and growing up poor and having to struggle for the most part. His real name is Christopher Wallace, and he was born in Brooklyn, New York. He was a revered hip-hop artist and was the face of East Coast gangster rap. Although, he styled himself as a gangster, he was more of a performer than a hardened criminal. It was his gangster image that leads to his death. Biggie Smalls passed away in 1997 in Los Angeles. His birthday is May 21, 1972, He was only 24 years old when he died. The name B.I.G on his name stood of Business Instead of Gain.
