Recommended: Transition from high school to university exprience

Students coming out of high school have a lot to worry about such as what they’re going to do, where they're going to go, and who they want to be. High school graduates are given more job opportunities when they continue to receive higher education. However, it can be difficult for students, depending on what type of higher education they choose. Students often wish to enroll between community college and university. Though they both offer a range of careers, one is a smoother transition from high school than the other. High school senior should consider enrolling in a community college rather than a university, for a suitable shift out of secondary school to help reduce stress.

Location is necessary, for it can help figure out how far to go. One of the important things students need to consider is the distance from their home to school. Universities can be out of state or in the urban area for numerous. Many students just got out of high school; chances are, they will still be living in their parent's house until they get a place of their own. They want to be able to come to school every day without having to pay money for plane tickets, or waking up extremely early to catch the bus. On the contrary, community college is closer to where many people live; after all, they are called community college for a reason. They can be as short of distance by walking; thus saving student's time to rest before their class starts. Therefore, incoming freshman will have a more comfortable way of getting to school without having to worry about distance in general.
