Colleges vs Universities One of the hardest decisions a high school graduate deals is the choice between attending a Community College or a University.Community College is the most basic type of two-year College that gives students basic preparation to continue education, are often an affordable and reasonble option. Universities you can earn degrees such as Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorates which is more expensive. At a University, you can prepare for many types of careers or for further study in graduate school. In Community College there is no sports or activities to be involve.In Universities,there are clubs,sports,organizations that can be really helpful for the major that you are in.Community College and four year Universities are both excellent places to achieve your goals, but both places are meant for different people. If someone has a set career path in mind such as a doctor,engineer or a lawyer, then they must go l in a four year University. But if that person is not prepared to leave home or has no set goals in mind, then Community College would be a much better choice for that person.The most important aspects between those two faculties that students value is the challeging of the courses,classes,help that they receive,and etc.For example,Colleges tend to be smaller, with smaller class sizes, and students receive more personal attention from faculty. Universities offer titles such as master’s and doctoral degrees which require completion of the bachelor’s degree first.Universities tend to be larger, with faculty time and attention divided between research and teaching.So most of the time it's up to the student whatever he or she want to accept the chllange or
