Consider a fictional case where a man named Jeff decides to go to his favorite basketball teams game. While driving to the game Jeff pays $20 to park at a lot close to the event. The Parking attendant runs up and gives Jeff a ticket and takes the payment. Jeff proceeds to park and look at the ticket he was given. On the ticket given to Jeff stated Not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property. While enjoying the game, Jeff’s car was assaulted by a large mascot head from the opposing team. His windshield was shattered to pieces. Jeff wants to know who is responsible for such damages to his car. According to our text, a bailment relationship is, “A bailment is a transaction in which the owner (the bailor) transfers his personal property
to be held, stored, delivered, or for some other purpose to a bailee, without transferring ownership.”. As you can see Jeff and the Parking attendant entered a bailment relationship. So now that we know this what are Jeff’s Rights? Well, consider this. As the bailee they are responsible for lost stolen or damaged goods. This was the case because all elements of a Bailment relationship were met. Jeff gave the bailee his personal property for storage. Jeff paid the bailee for the storage of his goods. Finally, the Bailee allowed him to park his car. The fact that he recived a recipt/ticket stating they were not responsible for his goods does not protect them from their responsibility as the bailee. Jeff can rest assure the window will be replaced by the bailee. Now, the bailees is more than welcome in pursuing the perpetrator of the crime and sue them for the money used to replace such windshield.

Conclusion: Congress hoped to achieve a greater degree of accuracy in assessing flight and danger of arrestees through establishing the Bail Reform Act of 1984, which set objective guidelines for judicial officers in assessing release conditions including taking into account for the first time the probability an offender will re-offend while on pretrial release. It was also hoped that the Act would bring back the community's trust in bond setting practice. Overall, the benefits of the Bail Reform Act of 1984 do exceed any detriments, but some problems do exist. These problems include the uniformity in the application of the Bail Reform Act of 1984, as well as the interpretation of dangerousness to the community. Through future legislative and executive reform, this Act will go through multiple changes until these issues are addressed.
The morning of their departure they loaded all the luggage and food that they could into Fredrick’s forest green Ford focus. Before they pulled out of the parking lot they had to lay some ground rules:
The bus continues along its route. After several more stops the bus is full. The driver notices that all the seats in the "Whites Only" section are now taken, and that more white people have just climbed aboard. He orders the people in Mrs. Parks's row to move to the back of the bus, where there are no open seats. No one budges at first. But when the driver barks at the bla...

The first assignment examined communication, ethics and perception. Entering into this class, I can say that I definitely took communication for granted. I focused too often on analyzing what is said when communicating rather than fully listening. The ability to put forth ideas and information in ways that are verbal and nonverbal is amazing. When thinking about ethics in communication, the first thing that comes to mind is patient/doctor or attorney/client privilege. Next, are companies that make claims that are worded in such a way that if their products do not work exactly as advertised, their half-truths may not be considered illegal but they are definitely unethical.
A white van drives insanely down the street, breaking almost every law there is, but the driver of said van does not care at all. The van stops in front of the two guys at the bus stop and the drunken fellow who may or may not be in a comma at the moment.
Problems in every society usually derive from one specific thing. Miscommunication. How many times have you gotten in an argument or a disagreement with someone over what someone said, and then you later found out that that person meant something completely different from what was running through your head? How many times have you gotten off the phone with someone—someone important, --and wondered, what in the world were he or she talking about? I often get this feeling after class.
Communication ethics questions ones personal narratives about what is good, bad, right and wrong. It makes us question communication and observe not only what drives us to do what we do but what drives the other person in a communication situation as well. Ethics determines how we enter situations, react to events and ultimately carry out our daily routines. The purpose of taking COM 380 Communication Ethics is to be able to successfully carry out ethical communication in both our public and private life. This course has one question that must be determined; “What is communication ethics literacy, and how does it affect the role of ethics in our communication and interactions?” This question makes us learn as individuals by actively listen to other people and engage the idea of diversity of ideas
TC or transactional communication has four key factors, simultaneous communication, multidimensional communication, time factor, and the noise factor. In the following essay, I will look at what the key factors are and give some examples of how they work in my life.
