College Essay On Becoming A Surgeon

One career that has always stood by me since I was a child has been becoming a surgeon. Becoming a surgeon is not that simple. It takes a lot of responsibility and dedication. When I was little, I didn’t always want to be a surgeon, but I did know I wanted to be something in the medical field. At a young age, my grandma passed away at the age of around 50 from a heart attack. The paramedics did the best they could but did not succeed. I realized I hadn’t spent much time in family bonding. A few years later, my grandpa also passed away. Again I started pondering but then I started thinking about how many people go to the hospital for an emergency per day. As I watched my grandpa start getting weak, the hospital around me had people rushing everywhere

as they were many lives that needed to be saved. from there on out, I realized I wanted to help save people. To sum it up, every since I heard about this academy, I immediately thought, “When I get in high school, I want to join that academy.” Now that the time is coming close for high school, I still want to follow the dream of working in the medical field. Lie I said before, becoming a surgeon or anything medical related takes responsibility and dedication. This goes along with this academy as well. It is a four year commitment that I can't back out of, and I won't. I am a very dedicated person. I ever want to miss school even for a vacatations, I always want to come to school on time, and the list can go on and on. I believe this career will be for me and I’ll make sure that I try my best and push myself to my limits and the best of my ability. Although the medical field is a lengthy career, it will all be worth it at the end starting with the Medical and Health Services Academy.
