Climate Reality
For a long time, climate change has been a major issue. Something needs to be done. To many, especially researchers, climate change is a bad thing, not only for the environment but also to the humans living within it; however most might consider climate change is nothing but a natural climate shift. Global warming has caused a lot of changes that affect both wildlife and human activities. The effects are obvious and therefore, this brings out the question as to whether such changes are caused by human population. Some argue that these global warming solutions can be solved by saving gas and recycling. Human population has been an overlooked solution by many. No one wants to talk about this due to the debate on ways to reduce …show more content…

Many vegetation areas are being cleared to become houses or factories for industries. This clearly shows that human population growth is a contributing issue to climate change. According to the article “The Climate Change Solution” Plautz talks about how politicians are scared to approach the subject. If birth control could be a valuable tool in slowing global warming, why not bring up the topic? Over the years, human society has changed the local ecological system and caused a change in regional climate. This is clearly a big issue. Today, humans have begun to affect the entire planet's climate. The world's population will increase more than 1 billion in the next 14 to 20 years. This is a natural and not man made cause. For example, The earth balance CO2 and O2, water and dust if they are from natural causes. However, the earth's atmosphere cannot balance the radiations that come from atomic bombs tests and weapons. This clearly shows that the earth's atmosphere is being caused by natural activities. Another example is the sea levels are increased due to the melting ice caps resulting from global warming. This occurs when the earth's energy is reduced, causing hot climate.

In conclusion, human population growth is impacting climate change. Birth control could be a valuable tool in slowing global warming. Human growth will continue to increase if poverty and infant mortality isn’t reduced. For example, humans use fossil fuels everyday to maintain daily lifestyles. Fossil fuels are damaging the earth. This clearly means that something needs to be done to save the
