Everyone that attends Brickell academy, please rise as we share our ideas about the science project. I am comparing the cells to an environment. I also am starting from the outside of the organelle and closing in. The plant cell that I am using is a vascular type. I choose our learning environment. The superior school. I think, that the school is a great example because of it's cell wall and membrane.
Our school is like a cell wall because it is hard on the outside but protective on the inside. It also is like a cell membrane because it allows students to pass through but, not unwanted visitors. The vacuole is like a paper shredder because it allows some things to stay and others not. A school is also like an endoplasmic reticulum because
The building of the grocery store is like the cell membrane, because it gives it structure and keeps everything inside safe. The security guard of the front door in the grocery store is like the cell membrane, because it says what can come in and out of the cell. The boss of the store is like the nucleus, because they tell the employes what to do and what needs to be done. The floors of the grocery store is like the cytoplasm, because it hold everything in it place, where it need to be. The illes in the store is
The cell membrane is a structure that controls what enters and leaves the cell. In a basketball stadium, the security guards are like the cell membrane. They can say who comes in if they don’t cause any problems and are following the rules and they can reject them and make them leave if they have something they aren’t supposed to or they are doing something wrong. This is how security guards are like a plant cell’s cell membrane because the security guards control what enters and leaves the stadium like the membrane controls what enters and leaves the cell.
Centers throughout the classroom will be set up to promote further understanding and creativity of their own communities and the communities of others. The centers will also be organized so that the students will be able recognizing the differences of people and be able to show respect towards all people. To start off the unit, the students will bring in a picture of their families and there will be a map of the city which shows the different neighborhoods and the students will place their family picture in their neighborhood. The map will be hung in the classroom so the students can see the different neighborhoods their classmates come
Question 1: Briefly describe, in 500 words or less, the normal structure and function of your chosen cell type. In your answer, discuss specific features in your chosen cell type, including cell organelles.
The Lives of a Cell: Notes of a Biology Watcher by Lewis Thomas consists of short, insightful essays that offer the reader a different perspective on the world and on ourselves.

Organize the physical environment – the way the desks, tables, and other classroom materials are arranged affects instruction and has an influence on order
We start off this first final affirmation by reading an essay about the importance of biology and the uses it has currently. The study of biology is relevant now because forms of life are constantly changing. We learn from the past of what scientists are previously learned. We can further research with the information we have gotten in the past. With this new information we can also help the future. I think the study of biology in the future will be more advancements and we will learn many new and interesting things. The past, present, and future study of biology is all relevant because science is a forever changing idea.
The Cell, the fundamental structural unit of all living organisms. Some cells are complete organisms, such as the unicellular bacteria and protozoa, others, such as nerve, liver, and muscle cells, are specialized components of multicellular organisms. In another words, without cells we wouldn’t be able to live or function correctly. There are Animal Cells and Plant Cells. In Biology class the other day we studied the Animal Cell. We were split into groups of our own and we each picked a different animal cell slide to observe. My group chose the slide,'; Smeared Frog Blood ';.
It was the first day of school, and it was another cloudy and gloomy day in Michigan. This couldn’t help the feeling all the students had after the excitement of seeing your friends ended and it left all the students feeling somber. This also marks the beginning of Mr. Waverly. He was my biology
In this cell though, the nucleus was not present. The plant cells and animal cells were very different. In the plant cells there was motion of cell parts but in the animal cells there was no motion. Also, the nucleus and chloroplast of the plant cell were towards the outside of the cell because the chloroplast can receive sunlight better on the outside of the cell than on the inside. In the animal cells though, the nucleus and cell organelles, were towards the middle of the cell.
This report provides an insight into the differences in the structure of cells and the way that they carry out their internal mechanisms. Cells form the basis of all living things and they are the smallest single unit of life. Cell biology is the study of cells and how they function, from the subcellular processes which keep them functioning, to the
The school that I visited was new. It was the first year of the school opening. The school board had combined two schools into one, so the students had to adjust to their new environments and new individuals. They seemed to be getting along well with each other. Since the school is new the teacher has to adjust to new problems that araise. Times for the subjects and times for using the computer labs change. So the teacher must always be fixable for anything. In this observation of this classroom I learned about the enjoyment of teaching. How you have to adapt to each of the students.
The students that I observed in the classroom were of middle to high school. I went to see 8th, freshman, 10th , and seniors classes, they seemed excited and very curious to why I was there. The middle school was more alive and rambunctious while I observed them. The High school kids were more relaxed, more comical. Some were paying attention while others seemed tuned out to the lecture or involved in socialization with friends within the class. By the end of the class Mr. Hasgil had restored the attention of everyone by using tactics such as history jeopardy with candy as the prize with the high school kids. In both he middle school and high school the kids were mostly Caucasian with a mixture of black, Asian , and Hispanic in the classes.
Growing up, I always enjoyed school. Don’t get me wrong, I loved summer and Christmas break, but the start of the school year was always an exciting time for me. So, for this assignment it would only make sense to write about a classroom. Not just any classroom, but one that will always hold a special place in my heart. I have chosen my favorite high school teacher’s classroom. I was in this classroom for three years of high school English class. I was in advanced English all throughout high school, and had Amanda Hickman for three of the four years. This classroom held a very special place in my heart because I spent much more time in here than I did any other classroom. I learned more in this classroom than I did in any other place
