In the introduction, the author has done a good job engaging the audience with emotions, and painting a vivid scene of the seals being slaughtered. This essay does a good job of acknowledging the other point of views. This essay also has a good, clear sense of structure. The author has a strong thesis statement, that gave a clear indication of what the following paragraphs are about.
The author writes “Pizzeria da Michele is a small place with only two rooms and one non-stop oven.” (Gilbert 176). That small section of text gives an almost complete picture of the place; it’s the rough equivalent of an American Ma and Pa family restaurant. It’s not a fancy place, and for the purpose it serves, it does not have to be a spectacular place cosmetically. The atmosphere of the pizzeria is what makes this place so special. Gilbert writes, “By 1:00 PM, the streets outside the pizzeria have become jammed with Neapolitans trying to get into the place, shoving for access like they're trying to get space on a lifeboat.” (Gilbert 176). This pizzeria gets busy early on in the day. Once can infer, based on that textual example alone, that the pizza this pizzeria serves is simply

There are specials offered at every meal depending on the season and the catch of the day. Chef Vanzile says that he plans the menu around what fresh fish and produce look the best rather than what is trendy. However, there is still a great deal of ambition evidenced in the menu. Some recent specials included Mahi chowder and blackened salmon with Romesco cream as well as more expected fare such as sautéed crab cakes and a shrimp omelet. Fish and chips were the special on St. Patrick’s Day, an Irish themed-meal for diners to enjoy.
With the addition of some key pieces, Dallas’ defense could potentially manifest itself into a top unit this year. Coming off a putrid display in ’13 of getting bamboozled on weekly basis (enough to be one of the worst groups ever step foot on a 100-yard field) defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli was able to hold a suspect unit together in ‘14. Of course, we can credit the offense for controlling the tempo (due to a formidable running game) that mitigated the defense from being exposed, but attitude and execution went up a few steps in Marinelli’s first season running the defense.
Description of Product: Their restaurant menu is very simple and short. They don’t offer many products such as other brands. Since they have started they made very small changes to their menu and mostly focus on their products as a whole. (Perman, 2009)

A crepe is a thin pastry type pancake made from wheat flour that can be filled with a variety of sweet fillings to produce a classic sweet dessert from France. The word crêpe is French for pancake and is a derivative of the Latin word crispus which means “curled”. Crepes originated in Brittany, a northwest region of France, between the English Channel and the Bay of Biscay. Crepes were formerly called galettes, which means flat cake and were served with meats and cheeses resulting in a savory crepe. Even though crepes originated in France, their consumption is now widespread throughout the world.
The side walk cafes are very popular in Rome. The cafes were always populated with happy Italians and a few curious tourists. The most preferred cafe was the Cafe S. Petro. this cafe was in perfect walking distance from the Vatican city. The Vatica n city is were the pope lives. The main meals served at the cafes varied from pizza to tortillini. The pizzas were not exactly like Pizza Hut's pizza. They were crispy thin with very few toppings available. Most pizzas came with cheese, pepperoni and a watery tomato sauce. The tortillini had soft, medium-length, hollow noodles with more watery tomato sauce. Another favorite at the cafe was the lasagna which was unbelievably delicious. After having tasted the pizzas and the tortillini, I was not exp ecting the lasagna to be so tasty. The lasagna was packed full of hot meat, zesty cheese, and a tangy tomato sauce. It was not out of the ordinary to see Italians, instead of eating at the cafe, talking with their friends and sipping on hot cappucino.
