Usually, the communication from priests to his audiences are pretty clear. For the first in a while, I felt like it was difficult to follow along. Since this text will be over how his messages were conveyed, the fact I had trouble most of the time understanding him should only be a small factor. The background allowed for success, the close bond between the behaviors and audience allowed for an easier form of communication. The audience consisted of mostly families and church members. The setting of the church makes it clear to where the attention will be focused. All seats are positioned forward, in rows, on the left and right side of the building. At the very front there is a beautiful mural, a speaker booth, a table with all of the religious objects, and other church members sitting down in white vestments. The audience is very focused, as everybody goes for a place to worship, and other similar goals are shared between everyone in the church. The primary theme being peace and love. There is too many reasons why people go to church. After my observation, I’ve concluded the setting/background makes it obvious for where everyone should pay attention and focus. …show more content…

I can’t blame him though, he seemed uncomfortable holding the mass in Spanish. He spoke mostly from the bible, sometimes taking a break to make a connection to present life. What was clear that evening, was that he had a stronger non verbal performance than verbal. His appearance got the attention of everybody since the green vestment he wore separated himself from the crowd.
