This murder is still unsolved and there are so many theories out there as to who really killed Christopher Wallace, a.k.a. B.I.G. These theories range from him being murdered by his own executive producer, Sean Combs, a.k.a. P. Diddy to a retaliation from the murder of Tupac Shakur to the conspiracy that the Crips murder him, and lastly the conspiracy that the record label, Death Row, along with the LAPD and some gang members committed the murder. None of these theories have been proven and I doubt they ever will. There were several witnesses to the murder since Christopher always had his entourage with him. There were three vehicles in his “motorcade” and in his vehicle there were three passengers. In this essay I will give a brief description …show more content…
An example of the questioning could be similar to questions asking about the relationship between the rapper and Sean Combs. Were there any issues regarding money between the two? Considering the beef between the East coast and West Coast why would Sean Combs insist on going to Los Angeles at that time? When the prosecution is finished with each witness the defense is given the opportunity to cross-examine the witness in order to punch holes in their statements or in the facts the government is using to prove the defendant’s guilt. Some of the cross examination might look like this; Did you in fact see Sean Combs hire anyone to murder his client and close friend? Did Sean ever tell you that he wanted Christopher killed? Again, there are so many different theories that are floating around about who really killed Christopher Wallace and since there is no real evidence with any of these theories no one has ever been charged. I believe that both James Lil Caesar Lloyd and Damien D-Rock Butler would both be good witnesses for both the prosecution and/or defense. I say this because in my own head if I am riding in someone’s vehicle and someone yells outside at the window I am going to look and see who it is. I should also say that if I am in the car behind Christopher’s vehicle and I see or hear gun shots I am looking at a license plate and since there had to be some type of security with Christopher in one of these vehicles there should have been someone returning fire? With all the speculation of who was involved with this murder and the lack of evidence is truly baffling. You have retired LAPD, Russell Poole, that investigated this murder and was told to stop investigating it, you had the east coast vs west coast, you had the murder of Tupac six months prior to this murder and Christopher and Tupac had beef, all of this leads to so many
Dalton James Prater was a young black African American men 18 years of age who was declared dead at the crime scene. Jacoby Bradley Hollett another young black African American man that was only 19 years of age but was taken to the hospital then soon died there. There were two people responsible for the
On May 7th 2000, fifteen year old Brenton Butler was accused of the murder of Mary Ann Stephens, who had been fatally shot in the head while walking down a breezeway of a hotel with her husband. Two and a half hours later, Butler is seen walking a mile away from where the incident occurred, and is picked up by the police because he fit the description of the individual who shot Mary Ann Stephens. However, the only characteristic of the description that Butler featured was the color of his skin. Police then brought Butler to the scene of the crime in order for Mary Ann Stephens’s husband, James Stephens, to confirm whether or not Butler was the individual who had shot his wife. Almost immediately, Stephens identifies Butler as his wife’s killer.
This is when I had known that the criminal justice system had mad various errors with this case. For instance the only evidence that the police had, had at the time was a description of the suspect, from the victim’s husband whose adrenaline level was very high. In my opinion when a traumatic thing just occurred I think it would of been best to of asked the eye witness what the suspect had looked like multiple times and giving a good length time period between when I asked. As well as when they arrested Brenton, the first mistake I noticed was how they claimed they found/captured the murderer of Mary Ann Stevens right away. The second mistake I noticed was how they asked the victim’s husband if Brenton Butler was the one who had pulled the trigger killing his wife. Now usually from what I’ve seen when police want someone to be identified the police do a couple things: 1. Capture Multiple people and 2. Have them stand in a police station while the witness picks out who he/she suspects was the suspect. Now the police did not do that, they captured one suspect and had him sit in the back of a cop car while the eye witness, which in this case was Mary Ann’s husband, judge from a distance to see if that was the boy who killed his wife. Additionally when they made that arrest my immediate question was why did the forensic team in which ever unit test Brenton Butler hands and clothes for gun
Media. The main means of mass communication regarded collectively. It comes in the form of t.v., radio, newspapers, magazines etc. The media has a way of portraying a story in a way that they want it to be seen by audiences. In other words, the media only tells us only what they want us to hear; which, may or may not be the truth or include the entire story. The media is always looking for the next best story and the competition to be the first one on the scene can be intense. A documentary by 9.14 Productions tells the story of a man and his art collection; The Barnes Foundation.
The court must find more evidence and not to depend on eyewitness testimony and to look for the best people as possible. Besides, there more evidence that DNA testing. Eyewitness must be proven in order to arrest the right suspect and question the suspect to get more evidence in steady of keeping in prison for false witness. The police for tracking everywhere the suspect went and people the suspect contact with that time. It will solve the problem by asking the eyewitness question and the suspect questions to see if both things they said
"The West Memphis Three Trial: Who was the real killer or killers?." The West Memphis Three
Many people have this one thing they ALWAYS do, and Tupac’s was wear a bullet-proof vest. It is so ironic how the night he didn't wear one he ended up getting shot. Tupac was cremated the day after he died. Now who gets cremated the day after they die, no autopsy no nothing. They can’t did him up like they wanted to do with Elvis Presley or former President Abraham Lincoln. The Cadillac that the murderer was in was never found. If someone would have robbed a bank or casino in Las Vegas the police would've been all over the scene. In Atlanta, GA., if someone was shot the police would look for the gunman immediately. However the city that the shooting was in was only about eight blocks who could run away in a city of eight blocks that fast.
The documentary film was about the murders of hip hop rappers Christopher “Notorious B.I.G” Wallace and Tupac “2Pac” Shakur. Following the film closely, the evidences and theories was based mainly on a former detective of which Broomfield suggested that it was due to the East Coast/ West Coast rivalry in the hip hop culture that had resulted in the two killings orchestrated by the fearsome puppet-master, Suge Knight, former CEO of Death Row Records. The film also uncovered possible involvement by Los Angeles police officers who were on Knight’s payroll after Broomfield presented an eye-witness who were able to name one of the hit men (VanillaIceJuggalo, 2012).
In “The Fish” by Elizabeth Bishop, the narrator attempts to understand the relationship between humans and nature and finds herself concluding that they are intertwined due to humans’ underlying need to take away from nature, whether through the act of poetic imagination or through the exploitation and contamination of nature. Bishop’s view of nature changes from one where it is an unknown, mysterious, and fearful presence that is antagonistic, to one that characterizes nature as being resilient when faced against harm and often victimized by people. Mary Oliver’s poem also titled “The Fish” offers a response to Bishop’s idea that people are harming nature, by providing another reason as to why people are harming nature, which is due to how people are unable to view nature as something that exists and goes beyond the purpose of serving human needs and offers a different interpretation of the relationship between man and nature. Oliver believes that nature serves as subsidence for humans, both physically and spiritually. Unlike Bishop who finds peace through understanding her role in nature’s plight and acceptance at the merging between the natural and human worlds, Oliver finds that through the literal act of consuming nature can she obtain a form of empowerment that allows her to become one with nature.
There are many people who have helped shape Florida the way it is today, and becoming the first Hispanic-American mayor of a large city in the United States is a great way to do that. This is just what Maurice Ferre did in 1973 when he became the mayor of Miami, Florida. Ferre, who was born in Puerto Rico, got his education in Southern Florida. He held many political offices before becoming the mayor of Miami for 12 years. When Ferre was mayor he made many changes to the way of life in Florida, including helping Hispanic-Americans become a larger part of American politics than ever before.
Stemming from World War II, a period full of death and uncertainty, post-modernist literature sought to deviate from the past and create something new. David Foster Wallace exemplified these ideas through his unique style. His writing contained jumbled ideas with copious footnotes and acronyms that he invented. The use of dark irony in his work parallels his psychological troubles, which are also echoed in this image. A dark eerie background surrounds Wallace with his only company being the singular light source to his left. Looking away from the viewer, he appears in a solitary state and disconnected from the rest of the world. By creating this mysterious façade, Wallace personifies his writing style, being unusual and different. His audience
... the bushes. After the man stopped shooting, Wallace ran towards a cornfield as fast as he could. He ran past people working in the field and men that were chasing him. He also ran and jumped over a ditch that the dogs chasing him fell into. Wallace made it back to Pickensville, about a 23 mile trek, and asked his friend at the church if he could stay for awhile and have something to eat. The man let him stay and gave him food along with water. Wallace stayed up in the church steeple for a few days, watching the roads through the window. He saw his Master pass by everyday going to the store, but made sure he was hidden from sight. One evening, Wallace decided to go outside for some fresh air, while wearing bright white straw hat. A man passing by had seen Wallace, and asked who was there. Wallace laid down in the corn and tried to hide, but the straw hat betrayed him
The theme death has always played a crucial role in literature. Death surrounds us and our everyday life, something that we must adapt and accept. Whether it's on television or newspaper, you'll probably hear about the death of an individual or even a group. Most people have their own ideas and attitude towards it, but many consider this to be a tragic event due to many reasons. For those who suffered greatly from despair, living their life miserably and hopelessly, it could actually be a relief to them. Death affects not only you, but also those around you, while some people may stay unaffected depending on how they perceive it.
