What i did over christmas break
I really didn’t do anything on Christmas break and It was boring because we didn’t go nowhere and I was just sitting at my house doing nothing and all I did was just play my games in my room with some friends on xbox and ps4. When Christmas morning was finally upon us my little brother woke everybody up to go open present’s and everyone got every gift they got and I got a little long box and I said “ i'm going to open that one last ” and when I opened my other presents I went to get that little long box and when I unwrapped it was a apple watch and I was so happy because I been wanting one for a long time.

This is not your typical Christmas tale. This story is about a group of friends who decide giving is better than receiving around this time of year. There are tons of children who aren’t fortunate enough to get Christmas presents, let alone plenty who don’t even have family to spend the holidays with. Three best friends ended up figuring that out and worked together to truly create a Christmas miracle.
When we were younger many of us wished that during the school year there would be cancellations or early dismissals. If the school’s education system in our district uses the year round school schedule then children and teachers as well won't feel overwhelmed due to the lack of vacations the traditional school system has. Now, to answer the question fellow parents of children in Danbury and Danbury citizens there should be year round school for these reasons: avoids teacher and student burnout, students will be more prepared for the future, and test score increase.

Around the end of the first week I went back to my Dad’s house and started playing with my little brother again. Around Christmas I went to my dad’s friends house and had a Christmas party. On Christmas eve I went back to my mother’s house to open my presents there. I basically got two Christmas’.

"Summer means happy times and good sunshine. It means going to the beach, going to Disneyland, having fun." This quote by Brian Wilson shows that extending the school year would not only feel more like a punishment but it would also be hurting the school. Some of the main reasons for summer break is so that: students and facalty can take a mental break, summer activtes, and so that teachers can get things ready for the new students comin in. This hiatus helps keep down the chaos.
Five, four, three, two, one....... the bell rings and summer vacation has begun. Students have been counting down this moment for months; summer vacation is finally here! The next several weeks, kids can sleep late, play all day, and just relax. Summer vacation should not be eliminated from the school year because students, teachers, and parents all need a break from stress, want vacation time, visit with their families, and have summer jobs.
My ultimate spring break is too imaginable to be possible. Over the seven-day break, me, my mom, and a couple of my friends such as Reagan, Camryn, and Sydney, will be going to the Aloha State, also known as Hawaii. When we get to the airport, it will feel like days going by as wait for our flight. On the plane, we board first class with a couple other people. We will land in Hawaii, and look at the breathtaking view. To get to our hotel, we rent a lamborghini from the airport in Hawaii. Once we get to our room, it looks amazing. There’s a TV, a window with a gorgeous view, and enough space for all of us. My mom will sleep on the bed on the bed in the other room while Me, Reagan, Camryn, and Sydney will sleep on the other bed and the pullout
In this essay, I will show the comparisons and the contrasts of two subjects. I have decided to compare and contrast celebrating Halloween and celebrating Christmas. Major similarities in these holidays are that both are full of tons of yummy treats and recipes. Another similarity is that the two holidays tend to make people who celebrate go completely ballistic in decorating their houses to the maximum. A big difference in the holidays is the atmosphere of them and the feelings/emotions you can get from the both.
Frosty the Snowman waves hello alongside Santa 's reindeer that are ready to take off. Candy canes line the sidewalk and the ginger bread dolls dance in a merry circle. The trees all sparkle with thousands of red, yellow, purple, blue, and orange lights. Every holiday has their own purpose within this culture. There are holidays for remembrance of their brave troops that help keep the country safe. There are religious holidays like Christmas and Easter. There are holidays like Thanksgiving, which is meant to help people remember to be grateful for what they have as well as giving back to those less fortunate. There are holidays like Father’s Day and Mother’s Day where people honor their parents. The 4th of July is set to remind them of their fight for independence, where they celebrate with fireworks and music.
