Christianity and Buddhism are two of the most popular religions in the world. Each religion has their separate demographic, belief systems as well as rituals. Buddhism is centered upon the life and teachings of Gautama Buddha, where Christianity is centered on the Life and Teachings of Jesus Christ.Christianity and Buddhism may seem that they don’t have a lot of similarities but surely both religions have a lot of similarities. In the next 3 paragraphs, the similarities and differences of Christianity and Buddhism will be explained.

Differences of Christianity and Buddhism are ,Most Christians believe in the soul,essence of a person that lives on, unchanged, after death for all eternity meaning that the soul either goes in heaven or in hell and Buddhists have no such belief.

Buddha is not just a human being, they viewed him as a remarkable human being who attained enlightement and out of bondless compassion show and affer guidence to all buddhists to save them from their sufferings.Personal mortality is followed by reincarnations after better or worse "rebirths" depending upon merit attained in previous lives.Buddhism's goal in the attainment Nirvana a state where cravings, desires and even "egos" cease, and because of the associated merit, one can hope to be freed from the endless chain of rebirths into suffering lives.Now on to christians, they have a personal God in Christianity.Personal mortality is followed by the judgement of God.One of Christianity's goals is to attain eternal life with God in heaven. An accomplishment that is seen as being a christian and who have faith in Jesus Christ, and are made righteous by Him.Given these substantial differences in doctrine,
