Hello, Ami! I apologize for the late response. I hope you and your family enjoyed your time at Disney! It sounds like the trip was well-deserved after a busy month of paperwork. After an unforgettable month in Spain, I landed back in the US on Monday evening. Unluckily, I have also been dealing with an eye infection for the last few days. Fortunately, my medication is finally starting to kick in. Woohoo! I returned back to work today in Los Alamos and will be here for the remainder of the summer. My brain has been everywhere, but I am happy to finally have enough time to respond to all my emails! This semester I plan to apply for work at the university’s childcare center. I do not have much experience with children, but I think this
First, I apologize for putting you in this position. I'm hopeful that this email may give some peace to you. I've realized that so very little of my behaviour in my life has been for others. As an addict, I was self-centred to the extreme. Realizing this, I am trying to take any opportunity I can to live in truth and to think of other's first.
I've cared for people and am a good observer when it comes to looking out for problems and conflicts. That's why I feel as though I'd be good in this field to help out children who need it the most, because I'm the type of person who can detect when something's wrong and I put my whole heart into something that is important to myself and the child in need. I've weighed the pro’s (helping out children, getting them in a safer environment, and doing what's best for the parent) and the cons (not being able to help everyone, and being put in dangerous situations) of this field and determined that the pros outweigh the cons that kids in need are so important I'm willing to put whatever on the line to help out whenever and wherever. This job takes a lot. You have to put all into it, and that's the type of person I am. I put my all into the things I do and am willing to sit down all night if need be to come up with a situation to help those who need
It’s five O’clock in the morning and today was the day where my family and I finally got a chance to start over! We’ve been waiting for this day for as long as we can remember. I’m so excited to start a new job and finally be able to put food on the table for my wife and kids here in America!
In my opinion, day care workers have many challenges. The kids ranging from two to
A few accreditation programs include NAEYC, The National Association for the Education of Young Children, NECPA, National Early Childhood Program Accreditation (Douglass 89-94); and specific to Pennsylvania, Keystone Stars. If a daycare receives NAYEC accreditation then they are the crème de la crème of early childhood programs. Parents recognize NAEYC accreditation as a mark of high quality and are more inclined to send their child to that daycare center. Centers that are NAEYC accredited have stronger team of teachers, administrators, and families working together to improve quality for children (Why NAEYC Accreditation). NECPA accreditation in child care center also attracts families to enroll their center there because they know their child will receive quality care. This accreditation program asses the quality of the adult and child interaction, staff framing, health and safety; physical environment, administration, and the parent and community relationships (Encouraging Quality, Recognizing Excellence). Keystone Stars is a continuous quality improvement program. It has four star levels, one meaning just beginning and four meaning the highest quality. Keystone Stars sets requirements for early childhood education program to promote the best learning environment and safest setting possible for each child. A Keystone Stars program provides children with individual attention, daily learning activities, a safe, friendly, and respectful environment; self-esteem, a well educated staff, and parent and community involvement (A Parent’s Guide to Choosing Quality Child Care). Accrediting programs is a way of child care centers providing the best possible care that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development for young childre...
What is the primary role of staff members in a child care program? How should they adjust their interactions from the youngest children to the oldest?
This is my first practicum placement in the Lethbridge community and in a daycare centre. It has given me a different, but good experience from working in a Parent Pre-School Program (PPP). This placement is different from my last two placements, because it has allowed me to gain more experience with younger age group of children. The placement still gives the children the opportunity to learn through their play in play areas of language, art, water, sand, blocks, and kitchen (dramatic play). They also, have the ability to provide additional play areas, such as infant play, play dough, train set play, and outdoor/gym time to exercise their gross motor skills. The placement is a bit more structured by offering a time schedule of outdoor play,
So have you ever been to Disney World? Most of you probably have been there. I didn’t go to Disney World until November of last year with my family. I wasn’t sure what it would be like, but it was incredible. It was a lot of fun, and it was a great experience because I was with my family.
I hope your summer has been going well, and that you've been enjoying your recent promotion! Hopefully you've gotten to take a few more trips!
Although I have not had much experience with school activities, I have had the great opportunity of working under my
So i want to be there to work with kids and just really enjoy being around them. I’d also did community service at crosslines to work with kids and I really enjoyed that. Some of my personal accomplishments are that i was nominated for student of the month but sadly wasn’t picked. I am a really responsible person as well. I tend to always have good grades, they might not be all A’s but they’re good for me. My attendance is usually great as well, and I respect others the same way they respect

I believe I have a passion for learning and in the field of child public welfare there are many different aspects that are included in the job. I currently take school and my studies seriously and I enjoy learning all I can about my field. To go even further, I think I would excel at learning and understanding the policies and inner-workings of the job. To add on to that, I also feel I am a quick learner, in which I can adapt to the job and what it e...
Hello, Heidi. It is very nice to hear from you. I am doing well, and I hope and pray you and yours are as well. I do apologize for the delayed response, but I do not get on Facebook very much at all. I am happy to hear you appreciate my posts. I simply post what I feel the Lord leads on my spirit on any given day. I can truly testify to the fact that if it was not for our Heavenly Father and Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I would not be who and where I am today. That being said, Happy Resurrection Day to you and yours. Take care, and may God bless you and yours, my
