Chick-fil-A’s system is closely aligned with the TQM system because their primary concerns are quality in products and services, customer satisfaction and overall dining experience, and employee loyalty. Top -management focuses on the long-term rather than the short term results, which is one of the reasons they promote Chick-fil-A by giving away free meals. Dan Cathy the president of Chick-fil-A, Inc. said, “While others might think giving away so much is a shortsighted waste of money, we understand the return that will come from that investment” (Cathy, 2009). Customers will come for the free products and enjoy the experience so much; they will return and tell their friends and family. Chick-fil-A puts quality first in every aspect of the company. Chicken nuggets is a popular food to many people. Many may ask who makes the best fast- food chicken nuggets ? This question is probably the most opinionated question ever ? There are many fast foods restaurants that sell chicken nuggets such as: Wendy’s , Mcdonald’s ,Burger King and Chick- fil-a.These four different restaurants all have different tastes to their nuggets. Now in my opinion ,chicken nuggets from Chick-fil-a are the best . They have great chicken and that is more flavorful. One other difference from chick-fil -a and these other fast foods restaurants is there chicken isn’t processed. The chicken is seasoned and cooked to perfection in the restaurant. According to Johnson , Chick-fil-A takes the title. The classic McNuggets are second, followed by Burger King and Wendy's.

One of my favorite commercials to watch is the Chick-Fil-A commercials. Their commercials are very ironic but at the same time interesting and entertaining. The main purpose of their commercial is to persuade an audience to go and buy their product or maybe convince an audience to come back again and buy more of their product. They are able to influence their audience through the use of rhetorical elements. Rhetorical elements include: the rhetor, discourse, audience, and rhetorical triangle. Their commercials don’t necessarily target one particular audience, they incorporate different ideas into their commercial to target different audiences such as families, and football fans.
As my wife and I were pondering about how to meet our financial goals, we started thinking about which businesses we would love to be a part of and Chick-fil-a stood out way above any other. So I told my wife that I would look into Chick-fil-a’s franchise opportunity and I went to the website and learned some more about the company and saw that it would be a great company to be a part of. Especially after finding out the cost to startup. We don 't believe a person should go into great amount of debt to start a business. After letting my wife know what I found, we decided to start the application process online.
I conducted my experiment earlier this week while at the new Chick-fil-a for roughly forty-five minutes. It was a busy lunch rush so many customers or employees didn't bother to notice me while they enjoyed their visit. There seemed to be a common theme amongst the employees and the store as well as the customer’s interactions with each other. Each person’s life is as deep and complex as my own and their actions represented interesting results.

Even after 9/11 Southwest Airlines has always been the top airlines in the United States. The reason for their unwavering success is based on the simplistic way they execute common values. After extensively reading their value statement, I’ve come to realize the company’s ambition thrives on motivating and taking care of their employees. Southwest’s values revolve around a warrior spirit, a servant’s heart, and a fun-loving attitude. These values transcend the more original ones from other organizations and ultimately represent more than that. For example, a warrior spirit represent the area where Southwest Airlines provides the tools for employees to better serve their customers. A servant heart implies that one is encouraged to treat each other with respect by showing concern for the customer. Lastly, a fun-loving attitude suggests that employees should have fun at work. Value is a strong concept created to guide or direct individuals behavior towards a desired or favorable outcome. For Southwest Airlines, values are not just about what the company believes, it’s about how it sets the culture. Newly hired employees are tested in the company’s three core values and in reward Southwest Airlines provide a recognition program for all employees who are complimented by customers. These values are mentioned in newsletters, staff meetings by the CEO and at special event. Southwest’s

Eating has been one a great joy to me my entire life. It is a huge portion of everyone’s day, and for most, happens at least three times a day. If we eat three meals a day every day for a year that is one thousand and ninety five meals! With all these meals we need a nice place to sit down and enjoy it. Whenever I get hungry, I always find myself at Chick-fil-a; well, at least five times a week. The familiar sights, comforting scents, and soothing sounds of Chick-fil-A that make it the birthplace of happiness.
The Foodcorp is a big organization of more than twenty thousand employees. The structure should help the organization achieved established goals and objectives. Therefore, the appropriate structural design is very crucial. The performance and the efficiency of the organization can be enhanced through specialization and appropriate division of labor. Foodcorp used a matrix structure but the management style of Foodcorp seemed to be a one boss arrangement. Information and decisions directly comes from the top. As we can see from the chart, group members report and communicate primarily with president. In my opinion, this style will work best in a simple organization, but not for a big organization like Foodcorp. If it relies too much on the president, the employees might face with many problems such as delays and bad decisions. Finally, Foodcorp may suffer from its structure. In my ...
The seven moral principles in the table that appear to be in force at Whole Food are loyalty, fairness, and the common good, because they uses the heroic principle. This challenge is built to improve the world. Many organizations are not built off of loyalty. Often times people put in years of experience yet to be laid off or fired as a part of budget and staff cuts. I have seen companies only find terminations as a result to solve a budget crisis. So, loyalty is a valuable moral principle that appear to be in force at Whole Food.
