How to Fix Your Credit Yourself
One important thing you need to do before thinking about fixing your credit yourself is to check your credit report regularly. It should come before any other steps because it is so important that every other thing you do to fix your credit is going to be built on it.
The credit reports are as reported by your lenders and they serve as your credit reference. However, it is paramount that you put an eagle eye on your reports because some lenders may erroneously report inaccurate information on your payment history. If you watch your credit report regularly, it will be easy for you to spot inaccuracies in the report and report the errors that you come across.
In this post, you will learn other things you need

Get Your Credit Report from Every Credit Bureau
The first step is to request your free credit report from every credit bureau. Going by the Fair and Accurate Credit Transaction Act (FACTA), you can request a free report from any of the credit bureau such as Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. This is available through AnnualCreditReport.com. You can also call 1-877-322-8228 to get your credit report. Under certain circumstances, you can also request for a free report directly from some credit report companies.

Public reports. This will include your financial obligations.
Types of accounts. This includes debts, installments, loans, credit limit, etc.
Personal identification. Social security number, addresses, employment history, name, etc., are some of the things you will find in this section.

Read the different parts of your credit report from the above so that you can familiarize yourself with them. This will make it easy for you to audit and critique your report in the future. In addition to that, when auditing your report, you need to pay attention to the following sections:

It is up to you to know what is on your credit report and keep the data up to date. You might have paid your bills on time, but your credit report may show that your credit is less than perfect. You may have had a credit dispute with a merchant that was corrected, but not shown on your report. You may have a bankruptcy that was not properly recorded. You may also have experienced credit fraud.
The marketplace can be unpredictable, as shown in the 2008 financial crisis. Since 2008 keeping track of one’s own financial means has become increasingly important. Equifax’s goal is to meet the needs of individuals and businesses by providing them with applicable data thereby allowing them to make well informed business decisions. The more organizations and individuals are informed and updated the less of a chance for financial disruptions.
CPS, with a $6.6 billion FY2013 budget, is now taking a new strategy based upon a flawed “Student-Based Budgeting System”. The Board of Education is also struggling to solve the debt they have reached, and with their FY2014 plans, this year’s budget book is argued to be “one of the most poorly written budgets”. The way CPS is handling their budget is not benefiting the lives and education of students and is leaving CPS at a loss with giant financial issues. Parents want the best for their children, no question, and the highest educational standards will be something that parents have at the top of their list. There is enough support to say that people who have received better education have gotten further in life.

...l system. Corporate advertisements are manipulating and ruining students’ education in school. Some schools funds solely rely off of corporation’s revenue; when a corporation falls apart, so will the school. The final factor is that politicians refuse to fund education, but are angry about how America is behind other countries in education. Moore states that politicians “would rather hold hearings about the depravity of a television show called Jackass than about their own depravity in neglecting our schools and children.”(Moore 131) This shows that they are not focused enough on improving our country’s education. To help improve our educational system, changes need to be made to the factors that made our system corrupt in the first place. Altering these key factors will improve our nation’s school systems and give our students the proper education to be successful.

Charter schools are gaining more support every year. President Obama said: “These learning laboratories give educators the chance to try new models and methods. That can encourage excellence in the classroom and prepare more of our children for college and careers,” during his Presidential Proclamation of National Charter Schools Week. But this kind of education doesn’t have the same sort of support from everyone. There is negativity that...

... past decade has not only affected teachers and valuable elective programs, but mostly importantly the education of today’s youth. The Georgia school districts have exhausted almost every way to make up for the billions of dollars of lost state financial support and they have reached the tipping point. Since over 9,000 teachers have lost their jobs, students are being forced into already bulging classes where they do not receive the kind of individual attention needed in order to boost student achievement. If Georgia leaders expect student achievements to improve, they must invest the necessary economic resources needed to achieve this goal. At the end of the day, one of the most important things in life is a good education, so we need to start putting more money into the K-12 school funding and help build back what years of austerity cuts have nearly destroyed.
Many contest that charter schools outperform public schools in test scores, graduations, and success rates. However, the numbers prove on the contrary. In 2003, the Bush Administration did research of 70% of charter schools throughout the United States. 83% of those schools performed no better or even worse than public schools did. The ratio of 2:1 outnumbers charter schools underperforming than over performing (isreview.org). Many investors of charter schools are for-profit companies. In the state of Ohio, more than half the charter's money goes to profiteers. A miniscule 8% of schools received a positive review and rating, compared to 63% of public schools statewide. Focus then should turn to the teachers, these teachers, on average, have fewer years of experience than that of public school's teachers. In 2009, the odds of a charter school teacher leaving his or her profession was 132% greater than that of a public school teacher (isreview.org). these teachers were not let go for conduct detrimental to their student's education and success but voluntarily walk away from their career. I believe that all children should experience an undying, blooming love for learning throughout the entirety of their public education regardless of financial, geographical, social, or intellectual circumstances. Public education reform is important to me because I am an advocate for possibility. Every student has the potential to achieve his or her dreams of succeeding; perhaps we, as adults, need to use our voices to recover those that our children have lost in their fight against today’s failing public education
Education is a vital tool for lifelong success but there are many areas of concern in the current system of public education. Education reform has been a constant occurrence since the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001. Every year, specialists develop
