There is so much pressure riding on high school athletes’ shoulders. Schoolwork, sports, family, their future, there is always a decision to be made. Sometimes they can create a career, or sometimes it can destroy one. Colleges would do anything to land a 5-star student athlete in their program, legal, or illegal. That is why the NCAA needs to get more involved with recruiting and college sports so people know if you break the rules you will get caught. I think the punishments were fair and right for USC. I think they learned their lesson and they won’t cheat again. That is what needs to happen with other teams. Whether it is by PED tests or by butting in on recruiting they need to start catching people. USC deserved all the punishments they were given because it sends a message to other schools that you will be caught. Cheating might win championships, but in the end it will come back to haunt you in the end
