While many theories exist trying to disprove the existence of this elusive beast, many also exist proving its existence. The first reported sighting made by St. Columba, an Irish missionary, in the a.d. 500s. He was from Scotland and came to spread Christianity. He saw the beast attacking a man and saved him by making a cross and ordering the beast to be gone. The Loch Ness Monster is not just a beast from the Medieval mythology. Many people have reported sightings of a creature matching the description “of an ‘extinct’ dinosaur called the Plesiosaur”(“Myths and Legends of the World”). There have been many attempts to find this elusive creature ,but all have turned up unsuccessful neither proving nor disproving the existence of the Loch Ness Monster.

From countless sightings, records, myths, footprints, and research, there is a strong possibility Bigfoot is real. We can say he is real because of his full history in different ethnic backgrounds, thousands of sightings, and physical evidence left. Scientific evidence and skeptical observations could also show that there is a strong possibility Bigfoot is unreal. Skeptics say there is no fossil evidence, lack of breeding population, and reasons to hoax. There are so many strong indications the giant ape could just be a bear, or it could be a creature scientists have not yet fully discovered to prove it is real. Evidence of Bigfoot’s existence and nonexistence is equal. Both evidence and theories can help you decide on this creature’s presence.
Bigfoot’s existence can no longer be denied. No longer is it a question of Bigfoot being real, but rather a question of man’s capability in being able to believe the truth. The facts cannot be mistaken. Besides being seen time and time again, video footage has been collected. This alone is enough to make many believe, but for the rest, the physical evidence is unmistakably real. As the theory progresses, more and more credible researchers come forward to show support in such a creature’s existence. They do this at the risk of losing their own credibility. None, however, are capable of an explanation for Bigfoot’s uncanny ability to remain hidden from human observation, the nature of which remains to be a question. Perhaps, though, as more and more people start to believe in the truth, questions will be answered and the mystery solved.
... are minds are playing tricks on us and that we assume were seeing the creature. But, the funny thing is that years before her article came out Radford wrote one on Bigfoot too. It also states in the article that throughout the world there hasn’t been any blood, bones, or bodies ever found.
Arthur Grant, a veterinary student in 1934, was heading home around 1 A.M. He saw something lurking in the bushes, and it immediately bounded onto the road. He swerved and stepped on the brakes, barely missing contact. The headlight was on the 20 foot long creature that had an eel-like head and large humps on its shoulders. What is this creature? Does it even exist? These are the questions many cryptozoologists ask on a daily basis. Cryptozoology is the search for and study of animals whose existence is disputed. While many disregard cryptids, the term for these mysterious animals, there are scientists committed to finding the truth. Though there are many fascinating creatures in this field, the three most news-worthy are the Loch Ness monster, Bigfoot and Dracula.
One of the more effective allegories in the novel is the building of a snowman by Jem and Scout. There was not enough snow to make a snowman entirely out of snow, so Jem made a foundation out of dirt and then covered it with what snow they had. If the snowman was made completely out of snow, Jem's action would not be so significant. Scout is very surprised when she sees the brown snowman and she exclaims: "Jem, I ain't never heard of a nigger snowman." (72), and to this Jem replies: "He won't be black long." (72). Scout's words indicate the strange nature of the snowman which is half-black, half-white. Jem, however did not find it peculiar and he "scooped up some snow and began plastering it on". Gradually Mr. Avery turned white? (73). The symbol of the snowman, like every other symbol in literature, may have various interpretations depending on the reading of the individual. In the specific case the snowman can be seen in two ways.
It seems that throughout the novel there is an extended metaphor of Snowman as various figures from the Christian bible. The first figure that Snowman can be said to represent is that of Adam, the first man, though the similarities between the two characters do not follow the same chronology. Just as Adam is given the animals as companions to look over, similarly Crake has ensured that the Crakers and Jimmy are both left in the newly re-created world as companions.
Happiness is shown to be achieved during childhood, so Kane’s yearning for his childhood contributes to the enduring value as all humans go through the human condition of aging. Orson Welles’ use of the motif of the snow globe appears several times throughout the film to symbolise Kane’s childhood that was cut short by Thatcher taking him away to his luxury mansion. The snow globe is
Every year when the temperature starts dropping and the leaves begin to get crisp, many ghostly tales resurface themselves for another round of terrifying anyone who is unfortunate enough to be in earshot of their horror. Many nightmares, uneasy looks into the dark, and scary reflections could be avoided if this simple question was answered: is the existence of the paranormal just a figment of the human psyche, or is there significant evidence that proves otherwise? The answer is no. There is not any proof that any such “undead” walk among us. This can be disproved by debunking some of the bogus evidence out there, examining some of the most common “paranormal activities,” and understanding the sensory part of our brain that triggers these fears.
Are ghosts real? That is the question that most of society deliberates day after day. The true definition of a ghost is a soul or spirit of a deceased individual that can appear in visible form or other manifestations to the living. Ghosts are of the most common paranormal belief in the world. Most people believe in ghosts because of a personal experience, whether that was seeing or sensing an unexplained presence. Who wouldn’t want to believe that our beloved family members are looking for us?
Just like Dracula, Santa Claus is based on a real person. Santa Claus' story came from St. Nicholas. “St. Nicholas was a Bishop who lived in the fourth century in a place called Myra in Asia Minor (now called Turkey). He was a very rich man because his parents died when he was young and left him a lot of money. He was also a very kind man and had a reputation for helping the poor and giving secret gifts to people who needed it” (Cooper). Santa Claus also gives people gifts to this day. Now his name has changed over generations and in certain countries. “In some countries including parts of Austria and Germany, present giver became the ‘Christkind’... In the early USA his name was ‘Kris Kringle’ (from the Christkind). Later, Dutch settlers in
As one can probably tell, there are so many different references, stories, and tales that it is hard to be able to justify whether or not Robin did in fact exist. There are very few cold, hard facts about his lifetime. So was Robin real? That is uncertain and probably always will be, but it is no doubt that his story will always be a favorite for many.
