Adrian Petron Ms.Menden English 1 17 October 2017 The Prince of the Ranch Slim is what they call the Prince of the Ranch. When he first walks in the bunkhouse he is described to walk “with a majesty achieved only by royalty and master craftsmen”(33). Slim is highly respected on the ranch even Curley listens to him. He is descibed as God like and is a skilled Jerkline skinner. Slim is “capable of killing a fly on the wheeler's butt with a bull whip without touching the mule” (33).
