Setting:
In the background there is a large paper. On this paper there is a woods, tree, and farm setting. The paper should have covered most of the wall. The setting is in 3 places, these 3 places are the most important. The background is long and goes almost to the floor. There are props that go along with the settings. The props are not to big and they are not

Narrator 2: They lived in a old cottage in front of an old overgrown woods. There was a mother that lived with her two children.

(The children and the mom walk onstage)

Jake: Mom can we go play in the woods? We are really bored playing here in the house.

Jessica: Yeah we have never been in the woods before, please Mom?

(She does a sad face)

Mom: No you are not to go in the woods ever, it’s a dangerous place.

Narrator 1: Jake and Jessica thought about how their mom told them they couldn’t go in the woods.

Narrator 2:They thought about whether they should go or not. It sounded fun but they knew they would get in trouble. (They walk outside of the house)

Jessica: I wonder why we can’t go in the woods.
