In this movie the main character Tyler seems to be a disturbed angry unhappy young man. Not because he is a bad person, no it is because he is a kind and sensitive boy who hoped for a better more connected life for himself and his family. The death of his elder brother by suicide and the separation of his family caused him to lose hope in life and succeeding.
He decided to live his life more on the edge with carelessness involving himself in the wrong things and tends to deliberately put himself into emotional disputes and physical struggles. This became obvious in several scenes - when he reacted by attacking the group in the car in the alley insisting the one group did nothing that included him to go to jail by aggravating the cop to assault him. He has no aim or target for himself in life but only big hopes for the one he loves, his sister even more than the girl he began to love as a joke between his roommate and him.
He was the main loving member of the family towards his sister and he...
In the novel The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton a teenage boy named Ponyboy lives with his two older brothers named Soda and Darry, and there is some controversy on whether or not his brothers are able to take proper care of Ponyboy. All three of the brothers are apart of the neighborhood gang called “The Greasers”, which is more like a brotherhood of underprivileged boys that have eachother’s backs rather than a gang. Ponyboy finds himself involved with the murder of an egotistical “Soc” named Bob, and is at risk of being taken away from his family and friends. Ponyboy should be able to stay with his brothers, because he is a well-rounded student that obeys the law for the most part, and his brothers are able to provide financial and emotional

S. E. Hinton’s argument is given from the perspective of a 14 year old Greaser named Pony boy Curtis who is being raised by his older brothers Darrel and Soda pop. The theme of the Outsiders is no matter what side you may grow up on whether you are a Greaser or a Socs, that you all can still have the same problems, see the same solutions, and dream the same dreams. You are also able to see how his character grows up and matures during the various interactions throughout this book. The two gangs in the book are the Greasers and the Socs (socials) and honestly, even after reading the book the only reason they didn’t like each other is they both had assumptions about each other that really weren’t correct.
Throughout life individuals face many challenges testing their values and personality one situation at a time. In the evocative novel The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton themes of growing up and innocence are shown. Ponyboy is not your average 14 year old he is part of a gang known to many as the Greasers. Having lost both his parents recently he and his brothers stick together like a true family but this relationship is tested when Darry hits Ponyboy. He also experiences the loss several close friends in a very short period of time. Throughout this novel, Ponyboy encounters many life changing experiences that prove he is a dynamic character.

The popular media production I chose to review was Antwon Fisher. I am not sure if I have previously seen the movie. Although, I do think that I have watched some parts of the movie. I came across the movie by researching popular movies that contained counseling scenes. Antwon Fisher is about a man who had a very troubling childhood. During the time that Antwon was born, his mom was incarcerated and his dad was murdered by an ex-girlfriend. Antwon was immediately taken away and placed in foster care. Sadly, Antwon was physically, mentally, emotionally and sexually abused. Antwon spent his childhood in these dreadful circumstances until his teenage years. He then ran away from his foster home and became homeless. Antwon finally ended up going

In this classic play by Edmond Rostand, the idea of eloquence surpassing outward beauty is celebrated through the the life of French jack-of-all-trades, Cyrano de Bergerac. While eliciting various emotions from audience, this play pays homage to William Shakespeare as well as stories in the Bible.
‘Our interest in the parallels between the adaptation inter-texts is further enhanced by consideration of their marked differences in textual form,’

One of the more prevalent themes of this movie is racism, and how prejudicial mindsets ultimately lead to one’s own demise. The movie outlines how racism, among other things, can adversely affect someone’s judgment. After the father died, we see how the family gradually deteriorates financially as well as emotionally after Derek (the older brother played by Edward Norton) turns to a neo Nazi gang for an outlet, which eventually influences his younger brother Danny (played by Edward Furlong) to follow down ...

Lee Daniels’ The Butler, is considered to be one of many inspiring movies to me because it shows me how this nation has changed throughout the years to become a greater nation. This film was released in 2013 and was based on a true story that was first published in The Washington Post in 2008 by Wil Haygood called “A Butler Well Served by this Election”, and then made into a book in 2013 called “The Butler: A Witness of History by Wil Haygood also. Even though the characters in the film and in the book are not the real names of the people and also some of the events that occurred might not be true, such as the involvement of the son, Louis Gaines (David Oyelowo), in some of the historical events, the overall story line is true. The real name of the butler was Eugene Allen, however, in the book and in the movie the name of the butler was Cecil Gaines (Forest Whitaker). The story line was about a butler that had worked in the White House for 34 years and has served eight different presidents, from 1952 which was near the end of President Harry Truman’s time in office until he retired in 1986 which was during President Ronald Reagan’s time in office.
