The Devil Wears Prada is about Andy, a girl who gets a job at a magazine company working for the infamous Miranda Priestly. Miranda is the fashion editor at Runway and one of the most feared women in the fashion industry. Andy had no idea what she was getting herself into when she filled out an application to be Miranda’s junior assistant. Throughout the novel, Andy is running around, trying her hardest to fulfill Miranda’s ridiculous orders with the help of Miranda’s senior assistant, Emily. All three of these characters are very important to the novel and they each have a different personality. A specific part of this song would be when she says, “Places, places, get in your places. Throw on your dress and put on your doll faces. Everyone thinks that we're perfect.
