Character Analysis: Mrs. Morehouse Should Not Have Scolded Catherine

127 Words1 Page

Mrs. Morehouse scolds Catherine when she draws her disabled son, Jason. It was unfair for Catherine when Mrs. Morehouse yells at her because Catherine knows what it feels like to have somebody in your family that’s disabled. Mrs. Morehouse is very sensitive to Jason. Mrs. Morehouse thinks Catherine feels that Jason has no feelings because he can’t talk. Catherine wasn’t doing anything wrong she just love to draw and she finds charm in something other people might not.
Mrs. Morehouse should not have scolded Catherine because she is a nice girl and was innocently drawing a picture of her son. If I were Mrs. Morehouse I would have seen the drawing first before I went right to yelling. I don’t think Mrs Morehouse should have scolded Catherine.
