Recommended: Technology and its effects on communication

Communication has changed drastically, but how? There are many answers to this question. From the first inventions of communication that people had to pay money for to today’s new and advanced methods of communication that no one has to pay money for. Technology has improved the way we communicate. Everyday, our society is becoming more and more advanced, and more ways for people to communicate are being made possible. In today’s society. Communication is changing more and more every single day, and many ways of people communicating, but how did it all start?
Communication has changed drastically, but how? Human communication has evolved over the years with new inventions and discoveries is heralding revolutions. One of the first inventions of communication were pictographs. Pictographs were the first written communication in the ancient world heralding written communication, but the first inventions of transporting documents were not made until the 15th century. The inventions that went with this possibility were paper, papyrus, and wax, which led the invention of the printing press that led to letters being able to be transported from place to place. In older times documents would have to be typewritten again, and again until the final version would be completed. But writing the document was just the half of what you would have to do to finally send the document. For the person to finally send off the document. The person would have to first take a trip to the post office, and also required a postage stamp. Before these methods of communication became possible, there were other methods such as telegrams. Although some of the new methods of communication have taken a toll on some of the people who use these new ways of communication. Communication has come a long way to get where it is today, but as everyday passes, technology will become more and more advanced.
