In the book Challenger Deep by Neal Shusterman the main character of the story undergoes a big journey that changes his life. Caden believes he is in a hospital that is a “White Plastic Kitchen” where he basically visits every night(Shusterman 10). Caden does not like the white kitchen because he thinks that the people in the kitchen are going to hurt him when in all reality the people in the white kitchen are the doctors that work in the hospital.
