INTRODUCTION
Generally Prostitution is considered as the business or practice of engaging in sexual relations for the purpose in exchanging for the payment or for some other benefit. In India Prostitution is the exchange of sexual services for money itself and is considering not an illegal aspect of the society. It has created a shadowy world for the women. The legal status of the prostitution varies from county to country. Prostitutions are occurring in variety of forms in different places. Majority of the prostitutes are females to find their livelihood through selling their own bodies.

Adolescent : high school girls living at home with their parents and participating in these illegal aspects of the prostitution as an evocation sometimes for money, sometimes for kicks.
Elderly prostitutes: the old age group people will be having higher desire for the sex.
CAUSES FOR PROSTITUTION IN INDIA
Unemployment:
It is a major cause for the Prostitution among women because it acts as a downside factor which pushes the women into the Prostitution. Through the Prostitution the women will find the easy susceptible way of obtaining money and which subsided the expectations of employment end earnings.
Poverty:
Due to poverty the women from marginalized and discriminated societies will take part in this Prostitution activity in order to get escaped from the poverty, for this the women observe their bodies and sexuality as means of making income.
Lack of Education:
Lack of education is considering as a key factor for the women entering into the Prostitution whereas it clearly suggests that women who falls into the traps of sex trafficking are often in destitute and desperate conditions.
