VCU vs ODU Have you ever felt that your choice of college wasn’t right for you. Are you tired of the crime and not getting into parties. Do you want to go to a college where you get your money’s worth. Well maybe its time to transfer to VCU! VCU students are more richer and educated than ODU students. People who are rich and educated come across as nicer than you average American so which makes for a peaceful campus environment. ODU on the other hand there students are mean and arrogant. They don’t even say hi to you in public or hold open doors for you either. This proves that VCU students are more cultured and have manners. Even though VCU’s tuition is slightly
more expensive than ODU, not only will you get a better education but also you’ll earn more money when you graduate. A degree from a mediocre state school like ODU has nothing on VCU. When ODU students graduate the job prospects are much lower than a VCU grad. The reason is that since VCU’s classes are more difficult. Employees will see that a VCU student has better critical thinking skills and is able solve challenging problems head on. Don’t get me started on the parties. Parties is what makes a college a college. In Richmond the cops don’t care if there’s a huge parties filled with underage drinkers. They’ll let it go on till the sun comes. Unlike at ODU the cops will just stalk you on the street waiting to bust you and your friends party. The crime scene at Richmond is so far less than Norfolk that in Richmond your average hoodlum is nonexistent. Even though there’s a lot of homeless people on VCU’s campus, no one is afraid of them because everyone knows the homeless couldn’t even hurt a fly. Bottom line, if you’re applying to college where you’ll get your money’s worth like VCU. Low crime, carless officers and slightly rich people is the ingredients for a utopian college life. If you’re going to get into one hundred thousand dollars of student debt at least do it the right way. When you look back on it after you graduate, you’ll realize that having a good social life is just as important as making grades.
