Case Study Of Aileen Padua

We, the parents of Aileen Padua, would like to tell you a little bit about our daughter, who is a senior currently attending University High School. As you should know, Aileen is our youngest daughter, whose older sister graduated in 2005 from University High School. We believe that Aileen will become successful as her older sister, who now resides in New York CIty working as an attorney.

Aileen attended Catholic school for ten years. From third grade to junior high, she was on the Principal’s Honor Roll. In sixth grade, she joined and participated in the school’s Academic Decathlon team, and continued to join up until the eighth grade.

She started taking piano lessons at the age of five, and showed her musical talent by playing the

piano and singing in the school’s choir for Mass during school days. The following year, she attended California Arts Academy to dance ballet. She was involved in ten ballet productions, which include “the Little Mermaid”, “Alice in Wonderland”, “the Wizard of Oz”, and “Midsummer’s Night Dream”. However, at the beginning of junior year, Aileen decided that it was best for her to take a break from dancing due to conflicts in her schedule.

Aside from her academics, Aileen enjoys giving back to the less fortunate. She volunteers twice a week after school, and even on holidays at St. Martha’s Pantry, a food pantry run by our Church community. Since the fifth grade, Aileen has been active in our Church by altar serving on Sundays during Mass.

Based on all the accomplishments throughout her life, we know that Aileen’s talent in the arts as well as her excellent academic performance are one of the main reasons why she got into University High School. We know that our daughter will achieve a brighter future in her life due to her involvement with our community and the Catholic faith.

Currently, Aileen is a part of L.E.O. Club, Yearbook Committee, and the Red Cross Club. She continues to do her volunteer work for L.E.O. Club as well as the Red Cross Club. In Yearbook Committee, she acts as an editor and a photographer. We are very proud of our daughter’s talent, academic performance, and selflessness.
