Carolyn (quiring) Regier was married on 10-28-1954 to Donald lee Regier. Shortly after getting married she conceived 4 children. Donald, Richard, Brenda and Bryan.
She worked 2 years in a cannery and then went to Heal College for 2 years to acquire a cna license and certificate. After receiving only 20 hours of training, and on her first day of the job she was in a lockdown at the convalescent home she worked in. This was quite a shocker for her considering she had limited amounts of training.
She later became a secretary for the cannery that she worked at. She eventually got fed up with being a secretary and decided to create her own business. She worked as a house cleaning maid with a lady who was interested in the same thing. After

Her mother eventually passed away just a few years after the stroke. After her mother passing away, her father began to experiment health issues and she had to care of him too for 7 years until he passed away. After her father passed away she took care of her ex husband’s mother who had had a stroke. She took care of her ex husband’s mother for quite some time. At this time her ex husband came back in her life. He would come and visit hismother regularly while Carolyn took care of her. They got closer together and became well acquainted. At this time Donald Regier was building a house up in shaver lake and when it was finished, he asked Carolyn to come back in his life and remarry him. Carolyn got remarried in 2002 to Donald Regier after being divorced from him for 21 years. at the time of their remarriage he was going through cancer, but he fortunately overcame it and survived for another 3 years until he passed away to heart failure in 2005. 3 months after he had died his mother passed away. She was the lady Carolyn was taking care of. Carolyn lived in shaver for another year or so after her husband passed away and finally sold the house and moved back to Reedley where she took care of her daughter after she had experienced some major health issues.
