The client started experiencing delinquent behavior problems at age 11 around the time his father left out of his life, which may be hard for him to cope. To find out the cause of the client’s action, a meeting was setup with the family to discuss Marcus delinquent behavior. A social worker sat with the client and their family to gather information before client’s court appearance. The client’s family that was present at the session was 35 years old Mrs. Demetress Walker (client’s mother), 12 years old Janessa (sister), 38 Jamarcus Walker (step-father), and 14 years old Tyrus Walker (step-brother). During the session, each family member expressed their issues they have with the client. The social worker notices the tension each family member had towards Marcus. The school can also invite the different after school care resources to the school during Parent/Teacher conferences or during other Parent nights to provide information and answer questions the parents may have about the different afterschool programs.
Linda is a 14 year old girl, who is in respite care. In my role as a carer I have observed that she was previously an outgoing and bubbly girl who mixed well but now appears quiet and withdrawn. I have been told by another resident who Linda confided in, that she was being bullied at school and not eating because of being called fat. Caregiving is an essential and very necessary aspect of the medical field. However, caregiving is also one of the most strenuous and stressful positions that exists. The patients require constant supervision, precise care and an extremely high level of patience, tolerance and skill. Eventually, this type of care begins to take a physical, emotional and financial toll on the caregiver. Because of the adverse effects of this profession, the Theory of Caregiver Stress was developed to aid those working in this difficult profession.
In addition, Salma also Demonstrates strength in the areas of speaking and listening and any content knowledge studied at her school, like science. The reason why she has some these strengths is because I would make sure Salma listens attentively when other are interacting with her, and also we hire a tutor to make sure Salma understood all the assignment before of the next morning of classes she has to attend.
