Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

A. Our team has been practicing together for 7 years now, we always strive to provide the best services and continue to keep up with the newest information available. We are all certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) it is a course that is provided to all staff members in the clinic by the dentist. In addition, we all take continuing education course together (CE’s) and then are tested by the dentist over the information provided in the CE. These CE’s not only help us stay up to date with the newest information but it also gives us the opportunity to provide our patients with the most recent recommendations about a product or a technique to improve their oral health. Involving the guardian in the oral health of the patients is also

important to us because they are the ones that will be encouraging them and motivating them every day at home to keep up with their oral health. Our environment will guarantee a smile not only on the child but the parent as well. It contains five operatory where the dental hygienist is able to perform cleanings, a digital x-ray room with a panoramic machine, three separate rooms with nitrous oxide where children with anxiety can be scheduled in, and two extra room where the dentist is able to perform restorative procedures.
B. Our Team
i. Dr. Annabel Rodriguez – Dentist
Attended Wichita State University located in Wichita, KS in 2000, and earned her bachelor’s in Dental Hygiene degree.

Then in 2004 she graduated from the University of Missouri- Kansas City (UMKC), School of Dentistry, in Kansas City, Missouri, for a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. In continuation was certified in 2006 with pediatric dentistry from Mercy Hospital and the UMKC, School of Dentistry. She has two lovely daughters 6 and 7 years old in which she adores and a husband in which they been together for 7 years. As a family they like to watch movies, swim, vacation, go to the park and arcade places. Family, love and communication is important to Dr.

Rodriguez.
ii. Ashley Dorenkmap- Office administrator and manger
Attended Wichita State University in Wichita, KS and graduated in 2000 with Dr. Rodriguez with her bachelor’s in Dental Hygiene degree. She very organized and keeps the business running smoothly.
iii. Vanessa Rosas - Dental Hygienist/ Dental Therapist
Attended Wichita State University as well with Dr.

Rodriguez in 2000 then once graduated attended the University of Minnesota for a Master of Dental therapy. She and Dr. Rodriguez work hand on hand doing restoratives.
iv. Estela Lujan – Dental Hygienist
Also attended Wichita State University with Dr. Rodriguez and graduated with a bachelor’s in Dental Hygiene. Soon will be welcoming her first baby girl.
v. Tyanna Moore – Dental Hygienist
Also attended Wichita State University with Dr. Rodriguez and graduated with a bachelor’s in Dental Hygiene. She is interested in going back to get her Master’s in public health.
vi. Elizabeth Strickland – Dental Hygienist
Also attended Wichita State University with Dr. Rodriguez and graduated with a bachelor’s in Dental Hygiene. She is also part of the Kansas Dental project and advocates for all Dental hygienist in the state of Kansas.
vii. Hattie Joe Cauwels- Front Desk
Is attending Wichita State University in hope of earning her bachelor’s in Dental Hygiene. She loves horses and does a wonderful job making sure our dental hygienists have patients.
viii. Jessica Johnson- Front Desk
Has recently joined the Dental Hygiene program and will soon be introducing a baby girl to this world. She is so excited to soon be a mommy. Also coordinates the front desk and filing insurance.
