Captain Jack Sparrow Research Paper

A surprising but wonderful appearance of Jack Sparrow from “Pirates of the Caribbean” greeted the amused audience in Disney’s D23 Expo at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California last Aug. 15, Saturday. During the fourth exposition event of Disney, Walt Disney Pictures revealed more details about the upcoming fifth installment of the fantasy swashbuckler film such as its cast and official title.
As part of the tease on the fifth installment of “Pirates of the Caribbean,” Johnny Depp appeared onstage dressed as Jack Sparrow together with Sean Bailey, president of production of Walt Disney Pictures.
Depp, or popularly known as Captain Jack, initially asked the audience, “Where are we?” Then, Bailey replied, “Disneyland.” However, it seemed that Captain Jack “never heard” of the place so he started throwing grapes towards the audience instead. In doing so, Depp imitated John Lasseter, Pixar’s head, when the latter gave out shirts during his presentation on Aug. 14, Friday.

While Depp is distributing the mini “freebies,” he stated that he hates grapes and he “despise the rotten little things.” Before ending his stint, he declared that the reason why he came to the Expo is that he wanted to sing a song for the audience.

But, Bailey assisted Captain Jack off the stage so the pirate insisted that he “didn’t want to sing” a song anyway, according to Variety.
During the same day, Bailey unveiled the returning members of the cast for the fifth installment of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” which include the film’s stars: Depp as Jack Sparrow, Orlando Bloom as Will Turner and Geoffrey Rush as Captain

Barbossa.
It can be remembered that Bloom was absent for the fourth film of the “Pirates” series subtitled “On Stranger Tides.” The return of Bloom will complete the original stars of the swashbuckling franchises and it will surely raise the anticipation of the fans to watch out for the latest “Pirates of the Caribbean” film.
Aside from the returning stars, Bailey also mentioned that there will be newcomers for the upcoming installment such as “The Maze Runner” actress Kaya Scodelario, “SLiDE” actor Brenton Thwaites and “No Country for Old Men” Spanish actor Javier Bardem.
The fifth film will be subtitled “Dead Men Tell No Tales” and the production declared that the shooting for the latest “Pirates of the Caribbean” was recently wrapped up and was already set for release on July 7, 2017.
