Generally, worldview gives us the insight to see the world around us. Grudem and Ruddell explains different principles in business ethics are moral principles that guides the way a business prosper. It’s all about making right choices distinguishing between “right” and “wrong”. Ethics derive from personal morals and standards, and also, we view other ethics. According to Ruddell (2003, PG. 42) he states the Christian foundation to business ethics, however, is different because it is a distinctive worldview. Business have to set standards and goals on how they would like see their business in the future. One day, I would like to own my own business. I think setting goals for yourself will help you to achieve and growth in life. It is very important. It is very important to have business ethics, rather than everything be about profit.

2003, PG.41). The key point that Ruddell is making is basically applying your own Christians views to tour business values setting. Sometimes your business values are different from your personal values. Ruddell explains the five principles and its corresponding in business ethics. The first principle having a long term perspective states that have a vision for the future will keep your business in good standing. Honesty, diligent, and wise are the next important characteristics are good to have in a business. Honesty in business inspire employees and customers with respect for your mission for the company. “Seest thou a man delight his business? he shall stand before kings. He shall not stand before mean man” (Proverbs 22:29, King James Version). In business, you have to put effort to accomplish your goals. Wisdom with a take a business in the right direction. It is good to gain wisdom and give it to others on what you learn. My last and favorite principle is “do well to others”. I believe you should treat others because God will pour blessings and it will do justice to treat people with kindness. “The love of money is the root of all kinds of evil” (1 Timothy 6:10). When money becomes a person main focus, and they forget the importance of life that God gave them, it becomes evil. If business was only based off money and not God, business will not only lose profit it will lose customers and values. Money is use for everything in the world, but we have to make sure we use it wisely. “Paying another person for his or her labor is an activity that is uniquely human (Grudem, PG.32). You can use money to help others grow. I think if you make money, you should be willing to help others instead for your own shellfish reasoning. When you give money to others who are in need, it help to glorify God. People have to determine the difference from career and calling.
Career satisfy your material desire and calling is something that fulfilled your desire for spiritual purposes from God. There are different secular theories of ethics such as Utilitarian, Deontologist, Virtue theorist, Ethical Egoist, and Rules for Radicals. These are great for business ethics. Confidence is the key to overcome business culture. In business you have to be willing to adapt to change and visioning the world around you. You will learn to experience change and coming to a agreement with people who have different morals and values of your own.
In my conclusion, business ethics is the key to a successful business. Personal values plays a main factor to help you in business. “Whatever you do, work hearty, as for the Lord and not for men” (Colossians 3:23). In my business and personal life, I will make sure everything I do is from the heart and for the Lord. I will never put materialistic things over the works and calling of the
Lord.

(Mallor, Barnes, Bowers, & Langvardt, 2010) Business ethics is when ethical behavior is applied in a business environment, or by a business. There are many situations that can arise in which a person is experiencing an ethical dilemma. They have to choose between standing by their own personal ethical standards or complying with their companies ethical standards. In some instances, some have to choose whether to serve their own personal interests, or the interests of the company.
Business ethics simply can be defined as the application of business values in the business practice of a company (Seawell 2010, p. 2). For a multinational company, business ethics is one of the critical aspects need to be taken into account in business decision-making processes. Failure to give attention on ethics may bring consequences on company’s reputation (Meyer & Jebe 2010, p. 159). The company is expected not only to pursue its own profits but also contributing to the environmental and social welfare of the community where it operates (Svensson & Wood 2008, p. 308).
By definition, ethics refers to "a set of principles of right conduct." It is also defined as "the rules or standards governing the conduct of a person or the members of a profession," (www.thefreedictionary.com) and in business may be considered the standards governing the conduct of people in the business environment. Business ethics is the behavior that a business adheres to in its daily dealings with the world. It relies on values as a way of guiding behaviour in business.

Ethics are the driving force behind good business. Every ethical choice made by a professional can and will have a much different outcome than any unethical choice. Bad ethics can ruin many aspects of a business and as (Gaye-Anderson, 2007) states how quite easily the lives and professional reputation of the employees can even be severally damaged (para. 3). Everything from morale to motivation can be severely affected by poor ethical choices. Customers will take their business elsewhere. Employees will abandon ship. Other, competing businesses reap the benefits of the bad moral choices. Ultimately, the entire business can be brought down by one poor ethical choice.
4. is the statement, “good ethics is good business,” really true? Is this sufficient motivation for ethical behavior you are in the workplace or is something else needed? Discuss. How does Matthew 6:33 apply to this maxim?
