I will also be discussing the temperature and precipitation. Tennessee has mountains and grasslands and known to have some of the most beautiful forest. These are the biome of Tennessee that the Iris and Raccoon live in.

Without the sunlight the iris plant would not be healthy and the beautiful colors they has will not show. Does the plant use photosynthesis? Yes iris plants uses photosynthesis, they provide food for the iris plants. Plants will use the process of photosynthesis, and this will only be done from leaves. The leaves can produce food and the nutrients for the plants. The leaves will die very slowly, when this happen they will turn to a yellow color and this would go back and supply nutrients to the rhizome. I think that by the plant dying it turns around and recycle again to help with the new growth. Does it compete with other plants? I have to say yes that the iris plants compete, just as anything else does. The iris plants is known to put a lot of energy when they are producing numerous, colorful flowers and very large in size. In my opinion because raccoons are known to be found in wetlands they would be able to adapt well in Florida. Florida is known to have water which is from rivers, swamps and this is where raccoons are able to feed from. According to "Edis" (2015), raccoons are found statewide in Florida in ever increasing number. Raccoon’s population increases because of urbanization and agriculture. This is because of there is more food for them to eat. Identify the primary challenges the animal will face. I think that they would have some challenges because of the population would increase. They would fight for more food and space. What will be the biggest threats to its survival? One threat would be because of the area that they are in; they would come in contact with much larger animals like alligators. Alligators are known to prey on raccoons and will eat them. What trade-offs would you expect as a result of the new adaptations? The trade of for the raccoons being in Florida would be that they are able to grow larger because of the much more food supply there. I think that if they have more food and close to wetland they would have less contact with humans.

Conclusion
Iris plants are very beautiful and they are able to survive in different environments. They need sunlight to help with the growth and the leaves when they fall that they would recycle
