Every life has a story and that story should be told no matter how small, or unimportant, or irrelevant the world may see this story, it once had a life, a voice, and deserves a listener. Stories tend to start off small and grow into something much greater such as that of a Mustard Seed. Every day a life comes and goes but do we know about this life that passed away, because just maybe that life impacted history or a person. Why should anyone care about a person who was not famous? Through the many years of her life she did many things and the first was assisting with World War one. While being mute in her early years Winford helped as a nurse assistance aid during WWI. Day by day she help young black men and every day she watched someone die. In those dark days love was hard to picture, but every day Winford woke up and prayed and still gave thanks to God. It must had been hard seeing so much blood and death but Winford became the image of love through prayer. Showed everyone what real strength and faith was. So went through many hardships in her life, but still remained a happy woman. So her life did matter, and it did in fact hold a meaning, and it was defiantly worth living. Olena Clark Winford is a story worth listening to. Not many people live the life she did, but she is also the person who left a greater mark on this earth then you will ever know simply because of her faith.
