REVIEW OF THE PROJECT – ORIENTATION WEEK
1. Did the project result in the benefits defined in your business case?
The project was completed successfully and all objectives were met. The staff were efficient with the allocated duties and were able to assist the student with their needs during the orientation week. The presence of students and parents at this program also helped promote the University to attract future students.
2. Did it achieve the objectives outlined in the terms of reference?
The newly enrolled students successfully completed the orientation program. There were 1000 students enrolled however only 850 students participated in the program (better

statistic than last year which was 700 students out of 1000 enrolments). The students had the opportunity to familiarise themselves on the campus main buildings. The students also had assistance to help build their timetables and learn how to navigate through the online learning tools. Outstanding payments and other administration related issues were also addressed. The students also had the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the library system.
3. Did it operate within the scope of the terms of references?
The project operated within the scope, all deliverables were met within the allocated timeframe and the staff and students were well trained to perform their duties.
4. Did the deliverables meet the criteria defined in the quality plan?
All deliverables were met according to the quality plan. The staff were well trained to perform their tasks and the good were delivered on schedule and according to the guidelines.
