Bronfenbrenner’s model involved how a person responded to their surroundings. It was all separated into four different systems. Growing up as a child, my family was always together and happy. Nothing ever seemed to put us down, not even the roughest times that impacted our lives. My family was together through ups and downs and they showed me that families should stay united no matter what circumstances occur. As a child, school always had a positive environment and it helped me learn so many things in life. My teachers were caring and a big help when it came to helping us learn. My parents always treated my peers as if they were their own kids and they always had a perfect bond. My parent’s interaction with the school was quite overwhelming. They always went to my parent- teacher conferences, volunteered when we had student activities, helped out in school when help was need. They bonded with the teachers very well and even outside of school they maintained communication. Every single day when my siblings and I got home from school, mom would sit down with us after dinner and help us with homework and to study. She always found a way to make homework and studying entertaining and not boring. My community would make tournaments and have activities for the kids to go and participate. Including but not limited to basketball tournaments and coloring contests. When it came to having field day at school, my community would help support it by volunteering, making sure we were safe and having fun. When there were soccer games and baseball games at school, people from my community would come and cheer for the kids playing. There was never a dull moment when it came to the kids in the community. Kohlberg’s theory was often criticized for being culturally biased towards individualistic cultures because the third and highest level of morality pertained most to middle-class Americans (168). Erikson’s theory of stage development revolved around accomplishing certain psychological goals to develop onto the next stage of life. Whichever goal was completed, would determine if a person could move on happily or have problems along the way (Myers 170).

This essay which will identify the five approaches with health promotion. It will focus on two approaches for the sake of this essay. These approaches will be defined and show how it could be used to tackle a life style behaviour using the Beattie’s model. The Beattie’s model is one of the several models health promoters use as a guide to direct the intervention mode and strategy which is suitable for any particular problem. This model will be used to identify the location of each of the two approaches, highlighting role of the health promoter in each approach, as well as discuss policies and ethical issues which are associated with each approach. Furthermore the essay will cover the values of each approach while it emphasis the need for health promoters to consider the effectiveness of a model to ensure suitability for any presented problem.
This article was interesting to read. This article makes me think about all of my siblings who I have seen grown up around me and I can relate the article to their life. One adolescent that comes in mind is someone who would have parents that would try to get involve in school work and other activities. This identity recognition occurs in several different aspects of a student’s life, which includes the student’s familial ties. In a study by Joseph Murphy, a sociologist at Vanderbilt University, he acknowledges that a home school education carries a lot of requirements for the family’s time investments (Murphy 253). Parents have to rearrange their schedules and routines, which strengthens the student’s relationship with his or her parents. However, it can also put a strain on the student’s parents (Murphy 253). The parent who does the majority of the education has to balance homemaking with teaching, which can be a major stressor for some. A mother or father who wants to write the curriculum may find that other obligations around the house will need to be dropped in favor of time. A positive side to the home school education’s impact on the student’s familial identity is that there can be a strengthening of familial bonds (Murphy 253). The parents involve themselves directly in the child’s education, allowing for a strengthening of relationships. Home schooled students can also grow closer to their siblings because they will have time and space to deepen the relationship. From the case presented it is my assumption that Rosa is living in a Spanish speaking household, Rosa is a 12 year old child with good interpersonal and Bodily-kinesthetic intelligence. Her high interpersonal intelligence has made her able to meet friends and because of this constant communication she was able to grasp the speaking aspect of English Language and has adjusted to her living and school environment. All families have something unique to offer and educators need to recognize this and make the most of it by incorporating all families into the school community.

There are many types of models that work in this line of business. There are commercial models, catalog models, plus size models, parts models, and so many more. All models have something in common though, they all live a challenging life. Although many believe that being famous, or on the cover of top rated magazines will make you happy and feel fulfilled, living that form of life can create a feeling of having no privacy. There are many perks however, in working as a model. For example, if working as a runway model, it is not unheard of to have a salary of five hundred dollars per hour. That high of a salary is mainly only given if it is a very large name show. Catalog models can receive one hundred dollars to two hundred or more. The amount of an hourly salary is dependent upon the popularity of the company or brand being modeled and if the model has a good reputation. The life of a model is very busy and includes a multitude of challenges that the model needs to be ready for.
I believe that parents play a vital role in influencing children during the development process as they create a lasting impact on the child’s overall development as well as on the socialization development. As children grow, they encompass a number of factors influencing their attitudes along with the behavior of that child. These attitudes and characteristics are learned initially from their parents. I also believe that when we are in middle school is when we want to be different to fit in with our peers. We see our peers and believe that the things they are doing are cool; we also want them to like us so we start to do the same things as them, which shows then that friends start to influence us more than adults.
