14 May 2018 Brave New World In our contemporary society, people have initiated methods of instilling knowledge to pass out information. The passage of information is essential in ensuring smooth activities in the world. Knowledge should be made a reliable resource that is maximized in the community. Such methods are either passive or active techniques, depending on the learning context. Those that actively engage in field studies have an added advantage of first site experience unlike what is obtained by reading and sleeping where one may need to internalize the concept and later integrate it into usage (Aarrevaara et al. 18). Besides hands on learning can be teaching of people by showing them drawings or letting them to draw for themselves so that it can be used in learning and children are able to know how to make things themselves this will help in making goods like coil pots which finally help them earn some income after selling them and they could also make things to decorate their houses (Blumenthal et al. 108)

Human beings have a tendency to avoid problems and suffering in their lives, searching for the “perfect world” in which every individual may constantly feel happy. However, is this “perfection” ascertainable by any individual or mankind as a whole? In Brave New World, Aldous Huxley offers his ideas and interpretations of a utopian society in which each person has the ability to always be happy. In Huxley’s vision, pain and suffering are completely avoidable through the use of a drug called soma. Soma functions as an opiate, allowing its consumers to escape all of life’s hardships almost instantaneously by entering into “another world.” People of the World State heavily depend on soma to live their daily lives each day without

In this world where people can acquire anything they need or want, we have to wonder, “Is the government controlling us?” Both the governments in A Brave New World and in the United States of America offer birth control pills and have abortion clinics that are available for everyone, thus making birth control pills and abortion operations very easy to acquire. Although both governments offer birth control pills and abortion clinics, A Brave New World’s government requires everyone to take the pills and immediately get an abortion when pregnant. This in turn shows us that A Brave New World’s government is controlling the population and the development of children. China is one of the few countries that currently have control of the development of children. In controlling the development of its children, China is also controlling the population levels. In any country, controlling the amount of children a single family can have can dramatically decrease the population levels. Just by having birth control pills and abortion clinics there for anybody to take advantage of shows that the involvement of either government is already too high.
A world without pain – seems almost too good to be true. One would be seen as mad if they would say they didn’t want it; but would they really be? Aldous Huxley writes his book, Brave New World, on a society where it seems a utopia but in reality is a dystopia. In a world without pain it would seem almost too perfect but when Huxley puts it on paper and shines a light on what a world it would be. Huxley demonstrates through his characters, style, motifs, symbols, and theme that for people to live in a world without pain and replaced by technology they would need to be genetically or chemically altered to be able to function in a society. John the savage is sympathized for trying to comprehend the world around him when he is unaltered and unconditioned for the brave new world. Huxley’s writing style and accents and tones throughout his novel give insight of how humans like people today would exist in a world where technology rules and people are moral-less; there would be no humans.
Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World illustrates a colorful, fantastic universe of sex and emotion, programming and fascism that has a powerful draw in a happy handicap. This reality pause button is called “Soma”. “Take a holiday from reality whenever you like, and come back without so much as a headache or a mythology.” ( Huxley 54 ).
To understand the fear of the dystopian future of both Brave New World and 1984, there needs to be an understanding of the time period in which they were written. Brave New World was published in 1932 and 1984 was published in 1949, they were written when the world was it conflict with radical change of social, science, political and religious ideas. The event that had an impact in all of those categories was the book the Origin of Species by Charles Darwin written in 1859. This book systematically changed in how humans perceived their own existence, and questioned the confidence they held in Christianity. With an entity as vast as the Internet, it is not surprising that a variety of unanswered questions will arise. I’m positive that the Internet will continue to confound scholars as it continues to quickly evolve. By analyzing the views of the celebrants and skeptics, I have been able to understand the potential that the internet has. By using the PEC, I have been able to understand how democracy and capitalism relate to the issues of the Internet. In the future, I hope that society can develop a further understanding of the Internet and move toward the Internet that the celebrants had hoped for.
Aldous Huxley’s famous novel Brave New World is a dystopia featuring brainwashing and controlling the people with pleasure, yet the sheer force. It dehumanizes human beings and shows how humans are being sublimated by their own inventions, such as science and technology. The World State teaches its citizens to be emotionless from a very young age. They are unable to understand the depth of love. Having sex so casually caused it to become a meaningless act. The characters cannot comprehend how to react when someone is in love with them. Ever since I was created, I have been mining here at Sector C-88 for coal. Sector C-88 is a monumental quarry with up to ten-thousand workers in a 10-kilometer by 15-kilometer area. Surrounding the massive quarry is an extensive network of processing and extracting factories and centers. Beyond that is, well, I don’t know. It’s just called the Beyond here, and it’s said to have something called “society”, but there’s probably nothing interesting like coal or anything. I looked up at the polluted beige sky and observed the curious shapes from the factory smokes. What could be above the smog? Infinite emptiness? I wondered. Suddenly, a familiar voice broke my course of thoughts.
In a world of test-tube babies, recreational drugs and sex, everyone is happy, or so it seems in Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World. Written in the nineteen thirties, Huxley was already recognized as a writer, and a social satirist. He had many of his own works previously published, which included a great deal of poetry, and cutting novels.

The Internet has revolutionized the computer and communications world like nothing before. The Internet enables communication and transmission of data between computers at different locations. The Internet is a computer application that connects tens of thousands of interconnected computer networks that include 1.7 million host computers around the world. The basis of connecting all these computers together is by the use of ordinary telephone wires. Users are then directly joined to other computer users at there own will for a small connection fee per month. The connection conveniently includes unlimited access to over a million web sites twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. There are many reasons why the Internet is important these reasons include: The net adapts to damage and error, data travels at 2/3 the speed of light on copper and fiber, the internet provides the same functionality to everyone, the net is the fastest growing technology ever, the net promotes freedom of speech, the net is digital, and can correct errors. Connecting to the Internet cost the taxpayer little or nothing, since each node was independent, and had to handle its own financing and its own technical requirements.
