I. (Opening Statement) What does it mean to be booty? Being booty is waking up in the morning not knowing that it is a New Day. And what better way to start off the day then with a big ole bowl of Booty O’s Cereal?! “Booty O’s! They Make Sure You Ain’t Booty!” II. (Thesis) I know you all must be thinking; how could I relate to a box of cereal with the word “booty” in the name?! That’s just ridiculous! III. (Preview of Main Points) Well I’m here to tell you I relate to Booty O’s Cereal so well because it represents love for professional wrestling, my positivity, and my silliness at heart. So, sit back and listen to a speech that surely isn’t booty! Body I. (1st Characteristic) As many of you can tell by the shirts I wear every day; I am obsessed …show more content…
Three of my favorite wrestlers are a group called The New Day that consists of professional wrestlers Kofi Kingston, Big E, and Xavier Woods. In early 2016, The New Day came up with Booty O’s Cereal. It was originally just a joke but it later became a real cereal. B. I have been in love with wrestling for a few years now. I like the matches, storylines, promos, gimmicks, comedy, etc. C. Wrestling also helped me make friends that I see often and has given me a sport that I finally enjoy since I literally despise all other sports such as football, baseball, basketball, and so on. II. (2nd Characteristic) I Identify so much with Booty O’s because they represent The Power of Positivity. A. I am a very nihilistic at times and whenever I get upset or I’m feeling blue I just start thinking of some Booty O’s and the encouraging message it brings. B. I feel much better being positive than I do when I’m sad or upset. When I’m not in a good mood, I am not a very fun person to be …show more content…
(3RD Characteristic) Finally, I identify with Booty O’s Cereal because I am very silly. Come on! You all know the very name “Booty O’s” is silly. Booties, trombones, unicorn, rainbows, and so on all together. You can’t get more silly than that. A. I like to make jokes and do impressions of various characters from popular culture like Batman, Freddy Krueger, Mickey Mouse, Vince McMahon, Braun Strowman, Ryback, and so. B. I enjoy wearing shirts that most people wouldn’t wear and that many find ridiculous. I don’t care! I will go to church, a courthouse, or a funeral wearing the most ridiculous outfit you’ve ever seen. And I like it! C. I know a lot of people like to associate silliness with immaturity, however I don’t. I believe that if we didn’t have a little bit of silliness in the world, everyone would be stuck up and boring. That’s why I like to go out of my way to be ridiculous sometimes, even if it means I look like a fool doing so. Conclusion I. (Transition / Review of Thesis) Now you all can see how I relate to Booty O’s Cereal. I am obsessed with professional wrestling, I am a positive person, and I love being silly! II. (Closing) Like all who live on this planet I will have my ups and downs, my good days and my bad days. But, I will always know that no matter what happens tomorrow is a New
If asked, many classmates would consider my defining characteristic intelligence. I would disagree; I consider my defining characteristic helpfulness. For students and teachers alike, I am almost always able to criticize constructively. More specifically for fellow students, I answer questions regarding code, calculus, or (English) conventions.
I have many things that I love in this life, one of those things is wrestling. I have been wrestling for seven years and I have developed quite the passion and love for it. Wrestling has always been an interesting sport for me. Growing up in Oregon I watched my uncles wrestle in high school. I watched both of them win their state tournament in their respective weight classes, this is one of my fondest memories of my childhood. One of them went on to wrestle division one, I thought this was the coolest thing in the world. I looked up to my uncles and wanted to be just like them. I did not always wrestle though. The process of pursing my dream as of becoming a wrestler started of with basketball, then went to a rocky start, then being on Worland High School wrestling team.

I enjoy lots of different things. I like watching shows like Supernatural, Criminal Minds, Once Upon A Time, and The Flash. They all have such amazing plotlines and characters. Personally, I wish I could be in a show that riveting and exciting. I also like tumbling, mainly due to the fact that I was a gymnast for eleven years, but had to quit after breaking my ankle twice in a span of 7 months.
The question then arises: What draws us as fans to gather in front of the television every Monday night to watch a group of maniacal brutes wail on one another? What draws us to spend countless hours in line to purchase tickets to a live wrestling event? Everyone has his or her own reasons but more often than not, the reason than I hear most often is that professional wrestling provides a respite from the drudgeries of everyday life. Monday Nitro and Raw is War is the soap operas for those who desire just a bit more action in their story lines. Some view professional wrestling as the apocalyptic adult of good vs. evil, while others immerse themselves in the plot lines. Then, there are yet more fans that enjoy it for the sheer wrestling ability and talent of those in the ring.
I started wrestling when I was eight years old and since then it has taken me all over the world. I had the opportunity to compete in Beijing, China. I learned that the Chinese team was only able to continue their education for a brighter future thanks to the sport of wrestling. Thanks to my involvement in wrestling, I was able to attend and graduate from Penn State University.

...lives. Without wrestling, there would be no fighting, no self-defense options or maneuvers, or any way for someone to be in the best shape of their life, without being in the military or special workout programs. Involved and used in everyday life, wrestling is not given the credit or respect that it deserves, for the sole fact that it is no football or basketball, and people don’t usually grow up doing it everyday in the local neighborhoods. ...the artifacts and the references in many major works of art and language. Wrestling is mentioned in many books and even in the Bible. This sport builds character and physical prowess unlike any other. Through the years it has grown and subsided in many different societies but has remained a strong sport till this day. They still have wrestling in the Olympics and hold many national and world competitions. Every year the high school and college programs continue to grow in their numbers and competitiveness throughout the United States. Up to this day wrestling has shown itself to be the most Universal sport know to man. Its participants will always remember that we compete for the enjoyment and glory of the sport. Its memories will never leave us. And as many of us say till this day, once a wrestler, always a wrestler!
Wrestling is a great sport to better yourself and earn a bunch of awards and titles to look back on later on in life. It 's something i will never forget and cherish always. But the memories of losing all the weight and making myself miserable for all those seasons is something i will not miss. People around me were only worried about the medals i had gotten and not about my personal being, that 's where wrestling goes wrong. That 's what needs to change in the future for not only wrestlers but the people around them as well.

Wrestling has grown to extensive amounts since it’s infancy. It has become one of the most organized and planned out sports in our Olympics, with some of the worlds most committed and die-hard fans to enter a stadium. Most of us have a tendency to regard a clever sense of humor as the distinction of a person who is good hearted and friendly, someone people feel at ease with. They are "life of the party" we always invite and the co-worker who always has a joke. Everyone has the jocular family member that they always look forward to seeing. We remember the kid in school that always made the class break into laughter. Humor is never forgotten when we reminisce and it is just as amusing as it was the first time.
