To find him, the prophecy told her to come to the Grand Canyon and look for a boy with a sword. That was Jason. Jason had nothing to tell her but the truth. They all returned to Camp Half-Blood. Annabeth was told everything. She told them it was the mist. The mist takes away memories or adds new ones. And the mist was a power of Hera’s. Hera was queen of the gods. Jason fell asleep and had a dream of Hera. Hera told him to find her and release her, and then she would give back his memories. Then Jason, Piper and Leo find a dragon and ride it to their adventure to find Hera. And then the remainder of the story is basically about those three trying to find Hera and Percy Jackson. Nothing else important happens; they just talk to people and go to different countries to get clues. Then at the end, they could not find Hera. But they figure out that Jason was the leader of a Roman camp, and Percy was the leader of Camp-Half blood. Hera made them switch places. Why I choose The
Book: I choose this book because I previously read the first book of one of Rick Riordan's series "Percy Jackson & the Olympians". I loved that book, but unfortunately, I could not find the second book in that series. So instead of skipping to book 3, I instead started another series of this incredible author. Do I think the author did a good job: I intended to read this series because of the author who wrote it. I loved another book that he wrote, and in this book, he has yet to disappoint me. He explained everything correctly and in a way that I could understand immediately, he included much detail and showed each character's personality through his writing. I think the author did a tremendous job on this book. What I Liked and Disliked about the book: I liked all the action in the book, I also liked how the author added a bit of comedy in the book so it wasn't too serious. I loved the storyline of the book and how each scene went. Most of all, I really liked reading about the main character because for some odd reason, I felt like he related on me a lot in some different ways. I pretty much loved the entire book, there wasn't really anything that I disliked about it. Though if I had to pick something, I'd say that the book should've mentioned more about "Percy Jackson" when Piper talked about him to Jason, because we didn't really know anything about where Percy was, or what happened to him until the very end. Would I recommend this book to somebody: Just like I said in my last book report, this book has everything you're looking for. definitely recommend this book to someone! It has everything you're looking for! It has action, comedy, thriller parts, and a bit of romance because you want to ship some characters together! This book is the total package! It also has a great story line and amazing and unique characters. There's not much else to say, but just read it! I assure you that you will enjoy it!

Watching a film, one can easily recognize plot, theme, characterization, etc., but not many realize what basic principle lies behind nearly every story conceived: the hero’s journey. This concept allows for a comprehensive, logical flow throughout a movie. Once the hero’s journey is thoroughly understood, anyone can pick out the elements in nearly every piece. The hero’s journey follows a simple outline. First the hero in question must have a disadvantaged childhood. Next the hero will find a mentor who wisely lays out his/her prophecy. Third the hero will go on a journey, either literal or figurative, to find him/herself. On this journey the hero will be discouraged and nearly quit his/her quest. Finally, the hero will fulfill the prophecy and find his/herself, realizing his/her full potential. This rubric may be easy to spot in epic action films, but if upon close inspection is found in a wide array of genres, some of which are fully surprising.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians: the Lightning Thief the movie is about a young boy who has just discovered that he is a demi-god Percy Jackson. There is a camp that demi-gods are safe from these things which is where Percy’s mother and his protector, Grover, take him to. This is where Percy’s journey begins. After a few days of being at the camp he realizes what he has to do. “The journey of the hero is about the courage to seek the depths; the image of creative rebirth; the eternal cycle of change within us; the uncanny discovery that the seeker is the mystery which the seeker seeks to know. The hero journey is a symbol that binds, in the original sense of the word, two distant ideas, and the spiritual quest of the ancients with the modern search for identity always the one, shape-shifting yet marvelously constant story that we find.” (Phil Cousineau) The Hero's Journey has been engaged in stories for an immemorial amount of time. These stories target typical connections that help us relate to ourselves as well as the “real world”.
the start of the film. Their quest takes them to the wreck of the ship Titanic which sank
In the beginning of the book, the author had Percy go to the school. Percy would meet Bianca and Nico at the school and they later help Percy and his friends out a lot. They later figure out that Bianca and Nico are children of Hades. The author had them meet Dr. Thorn so that Annabeth and Dr. Thorn would fall of the cliff. The author had Percy’s horse show up so that he could fly him to Washington state to figure out that Luke and Dr. Thorn are still alive. “Percy, Grover said, You are not suppose to be here, Luke I said, trying to catch my breath he is here” (p 110). Then the author had them go to San Francisco so that they could have the fight on top of the mountain where Zoe died. I think the author did a good job putting the story together.
Bahauddin walked up the chimney like path and started climbing up. Bahauddin’s vision went blurry and he leaned against the path wall for support and his breathe turned faint, and he remembered when he got the 7 keys. His memory was interrupted by noises behind him, footsteps? Maybe rats? Bahauddin looked behind him quickly and did a 360 turn to make sure no one is down there with him. He mumbled in Arabic, “yjb 'an yakun eumri musajilaan maeia..” (It must be my old age messing with me..) He continued down and and stopped to look at some symbols on the wall.
The Hero’s Journey is a pattern of narrative that appears in novels, storytelling, myth, and religious ritual. It was first identified by the American scholar Joseph Campbell in his book A Hero with Thousand Faces. Campbell also discussed this pattern in his interview to Bill Moyers which was later published as a book The Power of Myths. This pattern describes the typical adventure of the archetype known as The Hero, the person who goes out and achieves great deeds. Campbell detailed many stages in the Hero’s Journey, but he also summarized the pattern in three fundamental phases: Separation, Ordeal, and Return that all heroes, in spite of their sex, age, culture, or religion, have to overcome in order to reach the goal. Alice in Wonderland, written by Lewis Carroll, provides a good example of the Hero's Journey. This story describes the adventures of Alice, a young English girl, in Wonderland. Although she lacks some of the stages identified by Campbell, she still possesses many of them that are necessary for a Hero to be considered a Hero.
The story starts with a fight about love. Egeus, who is Hermia’s father, does not want Hermia to be in love or with Lysander at all. Egeus wants his daughter to be with Demetrius who is in love with Hermia, but Hermia does not love him. Egeus goes to Theseus who is the Duke of Athens. Egeus tells him about the situation, and of course the Duke will go with Egeus side since he is the father of Hermia and he decides what she should do. Now Hermia is stuck with marrying Demetrius, becoming a nun, or being put to death. Hermia and Lysander decide to run away in the woods where there are no rules and where nothing can stop them from being in love. Hermia trusting Helena, who is her best friend with the secret she tells her. Helena is in love with Demetrius. She goes to tell Demetrius that Hermia has decided to run to the woods in hopes Demetrius would take her back.
Then they get another prophecy saying that they have to have to save the queen of the gods, Hera. The prophecy was referring to Jason so he has to go on a quest. The quest at camp Half-Blood is normally a quest to help someone or to achieve something. Most of the time they have quests to fulfill the prophecies. They say in the book that it is ancient law that at the most

Jason Grace is one of the protagonists of The Lost Hero. In the very beginning, Jason wakes up on a school bus, with amnesia. Later, he finds out that his memories have been stolen by Hera/Juno, an Olympian goddess. He is the son of Jupiter, Zeus’s Roman form. Jason can read and speak Latin, and uses the Roman names for the gods. He can fly, and can also produce lightning. Throughout the story, Jason can remember snippits from his past, but is getting increasingly aggravated with his loss of memory.
But Jason was challenged that if he can capture Golden Fleece from the Kingdom of Colchis within six months he can gain the rights to succession, but if he does not return he will kill his mother. Unknown to Jason, Pelias believed that this fleece will give him eternal life. With confidence and spirit, Jason took the challenge and formed the bravest men and women, asked help from Hera the Greek god friend and the best armors for their adventure. This includes Hercules, Hylas, Orpheus, Atlanta and others, Jason called them the Argonauts.
