There are many talented people in this world. They all come from many different places from all around the world. Many people have many different talents like being able to play sports very well, singing, cooking, art, and many other talents. Today we will be talking about a singer named Blake Shelton. We will be discussing his personal life, music career, and interesting facts and things about him. Blake Tollison Shelton was born on June 18th, 1976 in Ada, Oklahoma. He was raised in Ada, Oklahoma and as he grew older he moved from place to place. He is now 39 years old and his height is 6’5. He has blue eyes and light brown hair. At the age of eight he would sing in his bedroom and then his mother put him in singing contests and he was successful in winning. He officially began singing and playing his guitar at the age of fifteen. He was in middle school at the time when he wrote his first song. He wrote that song when his brother Richie passed away, it was called “Over You”, and the song was CMA song of the year in 2012.(Famous Birthdays) At the age of seventeen Blake was recommended to move to Nashville, Tennessee. Right after he graduated from high school he moved to Nashville. There he became a country music singer songwriter. He became famous and started signing contracts and selling his own written songs. He also started coaching and judging in shows like Nashville Star, The Voice, Kids Choice Awards, and Clash of the choirs.(People) After he became famous and received his first CMA Award nomination for new artist of the year. After wards he ends up getting married after the release of his 2nd album The Dreamer in 2003. After almost 3 years of marriage they got divorced. After a single he was working with Miranda Lambert it was considered one of the 100 greatest duets. After releasing his 5th album he goes on tour with Maranda Lambert.
