Biochemistry is the Secret of my Future
“Excellence is not a singular act, but a habit. You are what you repeatedly do,” which serves as my personal motto as I find myself a very passionate person, always looking for the top. In addition, having experienced different kinds of adversity, I learned the value of not giving up. In fact, instead of giving up, I worked on prospective solutions to which I struggled with. In spite of this merit, striving for success is always a characteristic of mine.
Graduation from the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, at the Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) in Saudi Arabia, in 2009 was not very easy since its courses were intensive and difficult. During my first year, I took general academic courses. Within my second year, I focused on the basics required for medical practitioners. My third year was mainly concentrated on the theoretical and practical background of Clinical Chemistry, Urine analysis, and other courses. Although my overall score in Biochemistry was not so high as my other scores, I was pleased to see my diligent effort did not go to waste. By the time I was in my fourth year, I mastered most of the manual techniques, which supported my knowledge while I was doing my graduation research. More specifically, my graduation project was centered on the topic of "The Prevalence of Anti-Hepatitis E Virus Antibodies Among Male Blood Donors." Although it did not directly connect to the field of Biochemistry, it was an outstanding study to conduct. Working through this study expanded my tiny imagination and let me see that nothing is an absolute, pure science. For example, I had to crunch numbers, analyze statistics and use chemical substances to complete my study. Lastly, I spent two months learn...

... interest of research helps me recognize an alternative solution to terminating or limiting the side effects of cancer remediation. His team is concerned with cell toxicity by monitoring the cellular signaling pathways that are induced by toxicants. This generates a potential method of assessing the biological responses of a drug and how much it affects the patients' health. The process of detoxification might illustrate another way to reduce or completely avoid the possible side effects related to cancer treatment.
Finally, I know by reputation and from students' comments that this program is not only very challenging, but it is also rewarding. I am self-motivated, enthusiastic, and analytical when it comes to Science and research. These criteria including my unstoppable perseverance and dedication guarantee that I am a perfect match to be enrolled in this program.
It is important as a professional health care provider to have guidelines, regulations, and ethical standards to obey when providing care to the public. The ACA is to improve the quality of professional counselors in the community with education, knowledge, and guidelines by providing an ACA Code of Ethics standard when delivering treatment toward a clientele (American Counseling Association, 2015). One particular part of the ACA mission that is essential, is the ACA Code of Ethics. The purpose of the ACA Code of Ethics is a guide to ensure counselors in training and professional counselors understand the ethical obligations toward clients, possible grievances for conduct unbecoming, and professional responsibilities, which supports the ACA
“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts”
If someone wants to succeed in life and stay recognized by superiors, then he or she ought to appear hardworking. A person begins with setting goals. There are two categories, the first, “be” goals and the second, “do” goals. In other words, ask yourself, "What to be?" or "What to achieve?" Four categories of goals consist of wealth, health, relationships, and self-fulfillment which equal success. Working diligently to finish a task demonstrates how to live a successful life. Given these points, Thomas Edison, Helen Keller and Harriet Tubman, all exceptional achievers, found that prosperity undoubtedly comes along for everyone who perseveres.
When I was young, I was always told to do the best I can possibly can and achieve the best of grades. To be flawless and to be exemplary at everything I do. These sayings said to me mostly by my Mom, have led me and helped me to, in many ways become preeminent in my education. As I was growing up those sayings have helped me to achieve excellence wherever possible, and most of the time over achieve excellence.
Introduction- In order to succeed in life, you have to be open to trying new experiences, even if you know you might fail. If you do fail, you have to persevere and try again if you want to reach your goal. To become better than you are, you must be exposed to new ideas and moments of failure and doubt.

The inspiring memoir, Discovering Wes Moore, written by Wes Moore teaches the reader many life lessons, which are included in the themes of the memoir. This first example of Wes Moore’s life teachings is “But hard work and putting in the effort to be good at something matters” (Moore 142). This quote from Wes Moore is important to me because when I work hard and put in my best effort I succeed immensely. When I read this fragment of Discovering Wes Moore, I am reminded that everything that I do, whether it is academic studies, dance, soccer, or piano, it should be done with my best exertion. If you are diligent with your work and doing your best, you will succeed and achieve greatness throughout life. One connection I have with this statement
...y. 7) Continuing to meet a client only because it is enjoyable. We counsel to help clients towards treatment goals, and when these are met, the relationship should come to an end, and Heading One, Standard Two, Part C emphasizes this. 8) Claiming the “CDPT” title before the application is approved. While we might be eager to claim titles, Heading Four, Standard Two, Part A reminds us to honestly represent our qualifications (NAADAC, 2011). 9) Presenting educational materials from a source without citing it. Similar to academic integrity, professionals must give credit where it is due when using materials, and this is described under Heading Nine (NAADAC, 2011). 10) Failure to disclose confidential information in a crisis that leads to greater harm. Confidentiality is of the utmost importance in counseling, but there are limits, as described in Heading Three, Part A.
Qualitative research seeks to understand a social or human problem through an inquiry process. It is conducted in a natural setting and reports the views of informants in rich detail. Qualitative research strives to describe the extraordinarily complex nature of people and their perceptions of their experience in the specific social context in which the experience occurs. (Geertz, 1973). This is quite different than the paradigm of quantitative research. The raw material for qualitative research is ordinary language, as opposed to the numbers that are the raw material for quantitative research. The language may be obtained in many ways. It may be the participant’s own descriptions of him or he...
Ethical issues in a counseling practice lay the foundation of a therapist in practice. Ethics are at the center of how the counseling process functions and operates in a successful manner for the clients who seek help in such a setting. In order for the counseling profession to be ethical and hold professional recognition, there are many facets that need to be examined and outlined to make sure all counselors and practitioners are functioning at the highest level and withholding their duties required by the counseling profession. The first introduction so to speak of the area of ethics also happens to be one of the first steps in counseling, which is the informed consent. The informed consent provides the basis of what happens or will be happening in a counseling setting and serves to inform the client to their rights, responsibilities, and what to expect. Most importantly, the informed consent is in place for the client’s benefit. It also is important to understand that culture and environment play a role in the treatment of a client and how theories can positively or negatively impact this treatment. Therapists need to understand how to work within the context of a theory while being able to understand the individual in their own environment. Although theories are put into place to serve as a framework, there are also alternative ways to approach counseling, one example being evidence-based practice. Such an approach is very specific, which presents a series of solutions for counseling as a whole, but also brings forth many problems. Every approach or theory introduces ethical concerns that need to be taken into consideration by the entire counseling community and how each can positively and negatively affect clients and the pr...
During the tenure of five years of undergraduate program I studied variety of different courses including Biochemistry, Anatomy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pathology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmacognosy, etc. but always found myself more inclined towards pharmacology, physiology and pharmacotherapy of all the different courses I studied and with passing time my interest just grew stronger. In the commencement of undergraduate program, studying different drugs and their mechanisms, diseases and modes of their therapy was merely an interest but by the time my undergraduate degree program ended it became more of a passion. It was for this passion that I decided to pursue a post graduation degree in the respective field. Before I could go any further in academics I wanted to have some practical exposure and consequently, I decided to join a hospital rather than a pharmaceutical industry. Hence, after fighting off a tough competition from all over the country I was recruited among the twenty pharmacy graduates in a year lengthy “On-the-Job Hospital Pharmacist Trainee Program” in July 2013 and currently, I am working as a trainee pharmacist in the most preeminent hospital of the country, Aga Khan Ho...

Qualitative research was designed as a way to be directly connected with the subjects researched. Participant researchers may choose to merely observe and collect data or to be an active participant. Covert participation has the advantage of reducing the “reactive effects” of the social setting or group (Bachman & Schutt, 2012). Most researchers who use the participation method of research will often strike a balance between participation and observation. Through participation, an observer may gain the trust of the research subjects which can provide more fruitful results. Some research may however be unethical or a violation of law. A good researcher should use prudence beforehand when crafting their research design.
Everybody tries to be successful, yet not every person achieves this objective. There are those of us who comprehend that success comes from our individual conduct and there are those that decline to comprehend this idea. Conduct radically influences one's individual success and there are a few elements to call attention to when discussing this. Successful people realize that the establishment of individual and expert achievement lies in understanding yourself, understanding others, and understanding the effect of individual conduct on others.
Perfection is not within the realms of possibility, but I always knew if I aim for perfection, I could at least achieve excellence. This is the mantra I have followed in every walk of life. I have always learnt to appreciate everything I have taken up, thoroughly and to the fullest. In this competitive pace of life, I have learnt a lot from my experiences and I am still striving to learn more. I constantly challenged myself in an effort to develop a rational mindset and approach to problem solving.
