The re- enactments are well executed and the actors are extremely good as the gunfighters. I think this movie is a bit like documentary film but with some part of drama too and the show gives us plenty of information in a very entertaining manner. Bring the social issue this Billy the Kid can be educational movie for the people who watch this movie. Actually not only social issue but this movie also contains about history of wild west era so this movie can be more educational. This movie makes the people more to know about wild west era legend especially for the story about the legend of Billy the Kid. Billy the Kid story can be lesson especially about his action in order to bring justice and fight the lawless frontier. So we can conclude this Billy the Kid movie is a good movie to watch and the moral value contained in this movie are so good. I like this movie altough this is not a long movie and just a part of the series
The Lion King film is not just an animated Walt Disney film but an inspirational movie. I think this is a good movie for anyone to watch because it has a lot of meaning for example, life lessons. Throughout the movie, there were different examples of life lessons such as hope, justice, and perserverance. I would definitely watch it again and children and adults to watch this movie.
Out of a scale of 5(as being the best), I would give it a 4 and a half. The movie had a real good plot. It showed an American soldier leave his post and communicates with the Indians, which was very shunned upon. The American got very friendly with the Indians and also had a liking towards one of the females. While there relationship goit stronger they got married and when he went back to his post to get some things, he was caught by his troops, which thought he was an Indian. When they found out he was a soldier who became an Indian, they were going to try him of treason. While he was on his way back home, the Indians came and saved him from the white men.
The plot of this movie is about the struggle between the farmers and the cowboys. The farmers all want to start up crops, but the cowboys want to run their cattle through the open space so they can feed. Obviously, the two sides don’t agree. The cowboys end up attempting to use strong-arm tactics to get their way. They even try to scare the farmers off the land by burning down one of the homes of the farmers. Eventually, Shane, a former gunfight, realizes what he must do. He rides into town and kills all of the cowboys, including Wilson, the hired gun.
Acting of movie is very basic for todays standards. The actions of the Miles Bennell aren’t believable or logical. At some points the women of the movie tend of over action simple scenes. The rest of the cast is monotone and have little emotion. It ok casting, but they could of done better. You find yourself laughing at serious point in the film due to the poor acting. This movie could be recut to become a comedy movie, just based off their facial expression.
Somewhere out in the Old West wind kicks up dust off a lone road through a lawless town, a road once dominated by men with gun belts attached at the hip, boots upon their feet and spurs that clanged as they traversed the dusty road. The gunslinger hero, a man with a violent past and present, a man who eventually would succumb to the progress of the frontier, he is the embodiment of the values of freedom and the land the he defends with his gun. Inseparable is the iconography of the West in the imagination of Americans, the figure of the gunslinger is part of this iconography, his law was through the gun and his boots with spurs signaled his arrival, commanding order by way of violent intentions. The Western also had other iconic figures that populated the Old West, the lawman, in contrast to the gunslinger, had a different weapon to yield, the law. In the frontier, his belief in law and order as well as knowledge and education, brought civility to the untamed frontier. The Western was and still is the “essential American film genre, the cornerstone of American identity.” (Holtz p. 111) There is a strong link between America’s past and the Western film genre, documenting and reflecting the nations changes through conflict in the construction of an expanding nation. Taking the genres classical conventions, such as the gunslinger, and interpret them into the ideology of America. Thus The Western’s classical gunslinger, the personification of America’s violent past to protect the freedoms of a nation, the Modernist takes the familiar convention and buries him to signify that societies attitude has change towards the use of diplomacy, by way of outmoding the gunslinger in favor of the lawman, taming the frontier with civility.
Overall I like the movie because it is emotionally raw with a considerable amount of violence and action that isn’t senseless and is instead a product of the emotional rawness of it all. Also because the Ho Yay between Orange and White is considerable and it makes for a rather interesting watch.
This movie was a tale of an immigrant seeking money and power who untimely set up his own demise. The producers did a good job at pointing out certain features that let you into the life of an organized crime leader. He tells of his humble beginnings and shows you in details how he rose to the top. The producer had a point to make and I took that point as being you can never get and stay someone good while being bad. The sound effects and graphics also makes this movie. They show just enough to intrigue you but yet not to completely make you sick to your stomach. The music is very telling and
Henry Starr was a 17 year old Cherokee cowboy working a steady job at a ranch. One day, however he was framed for stealing two horses by a man that was in cahoots with a crooked sheriff. Henry’s uncle paid his bail, and Henry went back to work. A little while later, a rival cowboy hid whiskey in Henrys wagon, and Henry was stopped with a whiskey warrant, which was a way for crooked lawmen and lawyers to make money off of each other. Once again, Henry’s uncle bailed him out.
Upon the death of John Tunstall, Billy vowed vengeance on every man who participated in that cruel, wanton murder. Later, the Kid was involved in the death of Morton, Baker, McCloskey, Brady, Hindman and Beckwith. The vendetta led him through the heart of New Mexico.
Honestly I thought that the movie had such a simple story but at the same time it is so complex. The way it was delivered it was amazing, it's such a moving film. The actor’s were amazing, there isn’t anything I would want to change about this film. I would 100% recommend this movie to anyone, its so inspiring and it really makes you think.

Big Fish is a film that teaches many lessons and is also an entertaining adventure, but the main focus of the film is the power of storytelling. I believe that storytelling is something that as a child, I benefited from and that future generations should use to get through this big puzzle called life. The movie will make you appreciate the next time you're being told a story, and probably will make you pay attention more to that same story. You might learn something new if you listen hard
The film does a great job showing how powerful myths can be. It shows how even though people can believe that myths are outdated they are still used, and still influence different parts of our culture today. This series poses many though provoking examples of how myths influences everything from religion to seemly unrelated films such as Star Wars. This series is a must see for anyone who enjoys mythology, or anyone who is questioning their place in the heavens among the
In my own opinion I think this film is great. I think this because it
He is portrayed as a boy even though he is seventeen years old, for his mother takes control of his pay. His dad treats him like a kid and still beats him if he did something wrong,"Yuh wan me take a tree n beat yuh till yuh talk". He doesn’t feel respected neither from family or other workers in the field. He feel if he had a gun he’ll gain the respect of others. "But, Ma, we needa gun. Pa ain got no gun. We needa gun in the house. Yuh kin never tell whut might happen." He tries to explain to his mother that they need a gun for protection but he need it to feel powerful, to feel like a
