America is the home to the top 3 richest men in the world according to the Forbes list. There are many male and female entrepreneurs from the United States that are known around the world. Bill Gates also known as the richest man in the world is an entrepreneur who co-founded the Windows. Bill Gates is the idol of any up and coming entrepreneur. His ability to combine the other three factors of production and make a multibillion-dollar company is outstanding. Mr. Gates obviously has many office buildings around the world, has many employees, and has created many good and services. Recently Mr. Gates purchased 25,000 acres of land in Arizona to build a “smart city” (Fox). The Microsoft company is the home of 124 thousand employees worldwide

as of 2017. As a very diverse company, Microsoft releases computers, computer software, and electronics. All of these devices provide many services to its owner. In 2016 Microsoft was the fifth most valuable brand in the world with a value of $67 billion dollars. Bill Gates and his co-founder were able to combine the factors of production into a company that is now a common household word. Following not too far behind Mr. Gates is Amancio Ortega the fourth richest man in the world and the co-founder of Inditex which is the parent company of Zara. Ortega’s fashion empire encompasses over 7,000 stores in over 91 different markets, and tens of thousands of employees (Dowsett). Both of these men knew how to use the factors of production to completely change their lives, and the lives of the millions their product will effect.
