Introduction
The Bible is the central focus of a Christian’s life. The Bible teaches the followers of God what is right and good, and how they are to treat people. A biblical worldview may be used to understand life within the classroom and outside of the classroom. When linking a biblical worldview to education, one must include the student, teachers, and family of the students.

Now, adding a Christian perspective to that would make the Bible the foundation. All parts of education, including discipline, must be intertwined to reflect God’s love and truth. Knight (2006) stresses the importance of metaphysics in regards to the philosophy of education because it is the ultimate reality. Knight reiterates that it is important for the educational program to be built on truth rather than false illusions. The Christian philosophy of education is used to promote students to do the will of God. When the educational system has different metaphysical beliefs, the approach to education may also be different. When reflecting upon a metaphysical approach in education, one must incorporate the teachers, parents, and students. According to Esqueda (2013), a common metaphysical question is “Why is there something instead of nothing?” The BIBLE answers this question by letting us know that God created the entire universe out of nothing.
A scripture that helps answer the questions of the metaphysical approach is John 14:6 when God reminds us who our way, truth, and life is.

Teachers find themselves often teaching to the test or even overlooking individual students who need more assistance due to a lack of time and standards that they have to meet. When teachers start implementing practices such as these, they stray away from the biblical approach by not using and recognizing God as the center of their approach. A biblical approach would allow the teachers to recognize what is good and they would better see that the purpose of education is to help the students learn.
It may be hard to implement the Bible to students who are none believers because their approach may be one of atheism. Therefore, it would be contrary for one to teach knowledge about life based on God’s word, when a nonbeliever believes that there is no God. Rather than thinking that God is the creator of us all, they may believe that nature is the cause of creation of life on earth. I found that when we let these other aspects of our lives, whether it be bills, work or exams, we often allow reality to fade into the background. Or perhaps we could look at it this way: Our lives get so busy and hectic that we tend to put God on the back burner. Christian education whether in a university or biblical studies at home will give us guidance through our hectic lives, renewing our minds and keep us in close connection with our Creator and the rest of His Creation. Plantinga sums up Christian education as “for the kingdom of God. It equips us to be agents of the kingdom, models of the kingdom in our own lives and communities, witnesses to the kingdom wherever we go in the world.” (pg.143) When we ‘put on the full armor of God’ we not only protect ourselves from this fallen world but we are also able to project God’s glory to all those who we encounter.
Schultz (2006) defines a biblical worldview as one in which Christ is the center of everything and everything is based upon the Bible. This does not mean that only the Bible is taught, rather, every subject is seen through the lens of the Truth found in the Word of God. Humanity is made in the image of God. Therefore, all people have unique and valuable gifts to contribute to society. Every individual is also a sinner in need of redemption through Christ’s death and resurrection. Developing a relationship with Christ is the foundational purpose of my Christian educational practice. Instruction must be differentiated because each student is a unique creation. Effective differentiation is impossible without the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the use of research-based instructional methods and formative evaluation. Powerful teaching constantly modifies instruction to best address the needs of the each student and provides a foundation of love that recognizes each child as a gift from God.
Although a worldview ensues what a person believes about the great questions of life, a biblical worldview stands far more intense since it’s filtered through the bible and the outlook stays Christ focused. The book of Romans in the Bible provides an example of what a biblical worldview should be like. As a result of Paul’s truths in Romans 1-8, believers have been able to grasp an understanding of the teachings that express the idea of a biblical worldview that God intended us to perceive.
Our worldviews are constructed by the help of Metaphysics, giving us an analytical view of reality and our place in it. But what is Metaphysics? Simply put, it is the study of the nature of reality. It encompasses everything that exists, whether the world is real or just a mere illusion. Without an explanation or interpretation of the world, we would be lost. The degree to which our metaphysical worldview is accurate corresponds with how we are able to understand the world. Two of the main contributors to the developmental worldviews of Metaphysics have been Naturalism or Supernaturalism.

Christian worldview and worldviews in general can have an enormous effect on a scholar in many ways. Christian worldview gives the scholar or researcher opinions form a Christian point of view. Banaszewski, (2014), tells us that “Christian worldview is not just one religion but, it is many types of religion throughout the world”. I can personally relate to this as I have had the opportunity to partake and visit many different religious practices while serving in the military. Banaszewski explains, “how not all religions parishioners worship the same or read the same the same doctrine but, they all teach from the Bible and believe that there is a higher plain of existence”.
You can not put a value on a Christian education because it creates a setting of respect for God, His Word and His authority. It gives students a foundation of discipline, morality and a proper work ethic that can also be applied in other areas of life. Christians were actually the first to advocate universal education. The term university confirms this as it breaks down to “uni veritas” which literally means “one truth”. It was Christians in Europe who launched the first universities in France and the United Kingdom. It is ironic that so many scholars today are so hostile towards Christianity. Perhaps they do not know about the Christian roots of universal education for all classes and both genders or about the contribution of Christianity toward worldwide literacy, and higher education.
It shapes how we assess life, death, relationships, money, as well as major cultural movements and changes in the complexion of civilization. A Biblical worldview is an outlook of the world that perceives everything, God, Satan, self, and others via the lens of the Bible. A Christian’s view of the world is comprised of numerous Biblical elements. It begins in Genesis 1:1 and ends in Revelations 22:21.
1. WHAT IS A WORLDVIEW? A worldview can be defined as “a theory of the world, used for living in the world” (ASA). All people, without exception, have a worldview.
A worldview is something that everyone should take the time to evaluate and to ask themselves is this what they stand by. Everyone will always have their own perspective of this world when comes it to God, the government and people. As a Christian you will be challenged on your worldview. When analyzing contemporary issues in education, it is very important to ask why and how the issues arise. Some of these problems are obvious to the mass public, and some require a more in-depth analysis. One of the less obvious issues in education is the current philosophy in the classrooms. One may ask the questions, “Why is the philosophy of education important? And, why does it matter to me?” To put it simply, the philosophy imbedded in the goals of education and teaching methods in a classroom affects the students’ futures. This topic was chosen because the philosophy in schools is often overlooked as the absolute core of educational issues. Many students understandably struggle with sitting in a classroom, uninterested. In addition to the constant stress and pressure of having good grades, students often ask why the given curriculum must be learned.
