Recommended: Short summary of the Bermuda Triangle
Imagine being in a plane and it randomly goes down over the Bermuda Triangle. Also known as the Devil’s Triangle, Bermuda Triangle is a general area in the western part of the Atlantic Ocean where planes and ships have mysteriously disappeared over the years. It received it’s name from a magazine after an extremely popular disappearance known as Flight 19. Nobody knows for sure if the Bermuda Triangle is real because science cannot explain many disappearances including the USS Cyclops, Ellen Austin vessel, and Flight 19.
The USS Cyclops is one of the most famous disappearances in all of the history of the Bermuda Triangle. It was a boat that went down in WW2 with no explanation. The U.S. was thinking all kinds of theories like, an enemy sank the ship or a malfunction. The most popular theory was that the ship had already had structural problems and it could not handle harsh waves any longer. Someone on the ship had reported that the deck of the ship was swaying whenever it was hit by a colossal wave which created this theory. In the USS Cyclops disappearance the government said it was inconclusive so people started to create their own.

While there was a case of smallpox on the ship, many believed the disappearance was because of the Bermuda Triangle. The captain could have gotten the disease and then a storm caused the ship to sink. The Ellen Austin incident did not leave evidence when the ship went down. Some people have gone to some extreme measures and made up some inane stories to prove what happened. The most popular theory was that aliens had abducted the crew and left the ship unmanned and just waiting to sink. While this does seem far fetched, there was nothing to say otherwise so the theory gained some
...ary knew about the crash and that they were going to transport the wreckage to another military base. Many eyewitness accounts with similar details eliminate the possibility of merely a single person making up the entire event. The government’s contradictory reports demonstrate that their knowledge of the incident is dynamic and dependent on how they want the people to react. This matter is important because it raises the possibility that if the government is hiding information from the public about a spacecraft accident, there may be other incidents where the government is concealing the truth from the public. Despite the government’s best attempts to cover up the Roswell incident, eyewitness accounts from the common person validate the idea that an unidentified flying object crashed in Roswell, New Mexico and eternally changed the lives of several people.
the North Atlantic waters. At 11:40 P.M. an ice berg was spotted and as the ship made a rapid
This paper will prove it will remain unknown if the Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) crash sighting at Roswell, New Mexico on July 4th, 1947 did happen, although the government is hiding Extraterrestrial information there. The following is a list of terms that may become confusing to some readers.
The events that occurred in Phoenix on March 13, 1997 still have the world at a loss. A triangle (boomerang) shaped craft with seven lights on the main body and one trailing behind the rest appeared over Phoenix. Some believe that they were just flares used by the military, but others think that it was definitely extraterrestrial. Much evidence has been found, but the mystery remains.
The disappearance of Flight 19 has been the longest standing mystery in aviation due to the fact that no sign
Imagery are words or phrases that create pictures in the mind of the reader. It is a vivid and descriptive language that appeals to one or more senses. In Romeo and Juliet, there are numerous occasions where imagery is used, specifically light and dark imagery. Romeo represents darkness as he is depressed and thinks negatively. Juliet represents light since her beauty is as bright as the sun. In William Shakespeare’s play Romeo and Juliet, it is quite evident that one of the most profound forms of imagery is light and dark imagery, which is shown through the darkness of Romeo and the lightness of Juliet.
Some time in July of 1947, a mysterious flying object zigzagged across the skies of New Mexico. Within twenty-four hours the object disappeared from radar just as mysteriously as it had appeared. It was last seen in a small town in the middle of the Arizona desert, it’s name, Roswell.
“‘The ‘Bermuda Triangle’, or ‘Devil’s Triangle’, is a mythical geographic area’, states a fact sheet issued by the U.S. Coast Guard” (Gaffron 17). One of the most influential groups in the United States believes that the Bermuda Triangle is only a myth. “Most rational explanations for the incidents in the Bermuda Triangle, including the explanations given by the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard, include human error and environmental effects” (Obringer). The U.S. Navy has lost quite a few ships in the Bermuda Triangle region and believe that the reason behind those disappearances involved either human or technical difficulties. “Plane ditchings or explosions in flight may result from many causes; lack of visible evidence being explained by the truism that ‘It’s a big ocean’” (Berlitz 6) The reports from the people that actually lost lives believe in that something bad but normal happened which is a sound explanation for the
“In total, six airplanes and 27 men appear to have vanished” (How). On December 5th of 1945, five U.S. Navy bombers went missing without a trace of why. Later a rescue plane was sent to search for the plane and the survivors, but those planes disappeared as well. That incident is one of the most famous and well known disappearances in the area (How). The Bermuda triangle is an area in the Atlantic Ocean which many people believe mysterious disappearances have taken place. It reaches Puerto Rico, Florida, and Bermuda in a triangle shape that covers approximately 500,000 square miles (History). The mysterious disappearances in the Bermuda triangle are myths as evidenced by people who travel the area safely every day, there is no scientific proof of the mysteries, and there are scientific reasons why people have disappeared.
The mystery of The Bermuda Triangle has proven time and time again to be one of the world’s most bewildering phenomenons, and has kept scholars and conspiracists alike scratching their heads. It has defied all aspects of logic, science, likelihood, and probability. According to a late September, 2017 article by Holly Christodoulou, a writer for “The Sun”, “The Bermuda Triangle seems to have laid claim to at least 1000 lives via the mysterious disappearances of massive man-made vessels such as planes, boats, and cargo ships that remain unfound to this very day” (https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/2021520/bermuda-triangle-ships-planes-conspiracy-theories/).
When the Mary Celeste did not sink, Captain Parker tried to set it on fire. Even then, the boat could not be destroyed–but it would never sail again. Finally, the ship was left to sink, on its own, to the bottom of the Caribbean Sea. The Marie Celeste remains there to this day, buried in a watery grave along with its

Although the definite cause of the explosion still remains a mystery, the death of the members on board of the USS Maine persists to live on, marking the end of a new beginning.
The Bermuda Triangle, also known as Devil’s Triangle is an imaginary triangle located between the points of San Juan, Miami, and Bermuda. Christopher Colombus was the first to report odd happenings in the triangle. He claimed that odd lights appeared in the area, and that his compass was acting odd. Afterward, countless reports of missing ships and planes in the area have been noted. No one has an answer to the mystery, however several theories have been developed. The Devils Triangle is a common mystery and a contreversial subject because of the mystery that surounds it, the specific disapearances and paranormal activity that has been publicized, and researchers attention to the topic by their efforts to formulate theories and explanations to solve the mystery.
On November 3 1945, the Bermuda triangle first grasped the attention of many people with one mysterious event. Flight 19, an aircraft which was out on a 3 hour training session, fully fueled and equipped with five highly experienced aviators, went missing and was never to be heard of again (McDonell1of 9). The three hour training session started from Fort Lauderdale, Florida and was due 150 miles east, 40 miles north and then was told to return to the base; unfortunately that did not happen (McDonell 1 of 9). During the training session the aviators both back up compass and compass were malfunctioning making their locations a mystery to them and lost to the world for two hours. During these two hours radios on ...
