Beowulf's Journey To The Heart Hall

Beowulf was a great warrior who traveled to the Heart Hall to slay a monster who had been

troubling these innocent people. Since Hrothgar had helped Beowulf's father, he had to return

the favor in helping Hrothgar. King Hrothgar gratefully accepts his offer. The next time Grendel

attacks Heorot Hall, Beowulf is waiting for him. Choosing to fight Grendel in hand­to­hand

combat, Beowulf wrestles the demon into submission and eventually tears off his arm at the

shoulder. Dangerously wounded, Grendel runs into the forest and dies. With Grendel wounded

and missing a limb, Beowulf hangs it in the Heorot Hall. Beowulf, Hrothgar, and their followers

throw a wild party to celebrate.

Unfortunately, Grendel has an overprotective mother who decides to

avenge her son. While all
the warriors are sleeping off the party, she attacks Heorot Hall.

But when the warriors wake up,

she panics and flees back to her lair, a cave underneath a nearby murky swamp. As then

Beowulf tracks down Grendel's mother he gratefully makes it to her lair and fights her to the

death. Which in the process he then slices her head off with a sword the Giants had made

showing that Beowulf is inhuman and attacks her, ending the dreadful monsters life. This sword

is basically impossible since it's made for the Giants. After doing so he had given great relief to

all whom lived there once where the monster had laid his eyes. The nightmares of this

treacherous monster is no more and the lives of we hone have been enlightened by this.

After he defeats Grendel's mother at last, the Danes are overjoyed, and as quickly as he

defeated her he rapidly gained fame across the entire kingdom. Although Hrothgar had treated

him like a son he had to do his sorrowful goodbyes.

As he finally makes it back to his hometown of Geatland. His men reunite with the king

and
queen.

Beowulf had been given treasures for defeating Grendel's mother so with that he shares

back in his hometown. As he presents them to his King, he too, rewards Beowulf greatly.

Sadly, the king died and Beowulf was ascended to be king next for an amazing fifty years.

Coincidentally, a crazy thief disturbed a dragon in a barrow which is guarding valuable treasure.

The thief had disturbed him and enraged him causing him to go in a frenzy unleashing wrath

upon everyone. This brings Beowulf and his companion to fight the dragon. Then, defeating him

at a undeniable cost, he drags Beowulf down as well.

This story has made people want to read it over and over again. With this being said, this is a

poem that has the epic,heroic, and the sophisticated character to over right evil. Some of the

things that happens in the story shows that it is related to the bible on how good and evil is

sought to have a conclusion and how it is handled. Which shows this heroic poem of him till this

day makes other people fascinated about his heroic doings towards evil. This is truly a classic
