Being an American citizen is something that many people want to accomplish yet some may never get to. Americans is one of the few countries in the world who practice democracy and freedom of speech. American citizens are offered rights that would get citizens from other countries persecuted. I am proud to be an American but there are some issues in my country that I wish could be different. There are issues such as pay gap, racial discrimination, and poverty. I cannot save my country from all of the issues but I do plan on doing something to make a difference. I plan on using my education to open up my own business and providing people with jobs to help contribute with the unemployment gap and helping to end poverty. I plan on attending the
