It is often astounding how secrets can tear lives apart. The Secret Lives of Sgt. John Wilson gives testament to this fact. This story is the ultimate portrayal of deception and betrayal set amidst the serene, isolated canvas of the Saskatchewan prairies. What makes this story seems unbelievable is the fact that this is a true story which actually occurred as opposed to being fiction. John Wilson killed his loving unsuspecting and hid her body in an isolated culvert in 1918 near Waldheim, Saskatchewan. Some years later he would be tried in a court of law, convicted and hung for his crime in Prince Alberta, Saskatchewan. He was the first and only Mountie to be hung in Canadian History. Once again, providing that the Mounties did get their man
On Friday, November 22, 1963, in Dallas, Texas, John Kennedy hoped to gain support for the upcoming election. Kennedy, who was accompanied by his wife Jaqueline, Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson and Mrs. Johnson, Senator Ralph Yarborough of Texas, Governor John B. Connally, and Mrs. Connally was riding in an open car in a motorcade driving from Love Field airport to the Dallas Trade Mart (“Kennedy”). At 12:30 p.m. CST, President John Fitzgerald Kennedy was shot (“Kennedy”). The fearless John Fitzgerald "Jack" Kennedy seemed to know that death would eventually arrive at his doorstep, as it did. Although one shooter, Lee Harvey Oswald, was able to slay the president, questions still remain if he was the one and only shooter. Many unanswered questions and mysterious claims suggest that Oswald was not the lone shooter, but that a second shooter was able to assist in the assassination of Kennedy.
The Guard, for reasons unknown, had to turn back and open fire at a crowd of students. Within thirteen seconds, four students were killed and nine wounded. One student who was killed was Allison Krause, who was the only one of the four killed that was actually involved in the demonstrations.

The shootings that occurred at Kent State University, Ohio, on May 4, 1970 have been a dark spot in American history for almost 36 years. A. On that day in 1963, the 35th president John F Kennedy was assassinated while driving through Dealey Plaza in Texas (Nelson, “Breach of Trust”).
Since November 23, 1963, the day after President John Fitzgerald Kennedy was assassinated, there have been speculations as to the happenings of November 22, 1963. Along with the Warren Commission, there are hundreds of conspiracies and theories attempting to explain the assassination of Kennedy. Many people agree with the Warren Commission in that Lee Harvey Oswald acted as the lone gunman, while others maintain that another gunman was involved. Because of extensive evidence, I believe that Oswald did not act alone on November 22, 1963 in the assassination of Kennedy. The additional gunman was strategically placed in the grassy knoll area, in order to shoot at Kennedy from a frontal view (Rubinstein 4).

Jacob Hoyt Miss Roth English 9.5 17 March 2017 Research Rough Draft Snipers have the ability to hit a target from over 1,000 yards away. As said by Robert Valdes, “Snipers are known for their marksmanship, but it is not a skill that comes naturally and requires a deep understanding of bullet ballistics.” (10). Snipers are very well known machines of war, but there is much more to the marksman than point and shoot. A Sniper must be able to hit their target from those ranges on their first try and sharpshooting is a perishable skill meaning they have to train.
