n the big beautiful place of Tennessee is a scary looking cave called the Bell Witch Cave in Roberts County unlike other caves that may seem scary but aren’t spooky. Bell Witch Cave gave people of Tennessee the chills and made them feel a little unusual about the dark rocky cave. What made Bell Witch cave so unusual and scary were all the living and non-living things that have been in the cave for years now. The cave had a gate that covered the entrance, but looked like it has been broken through a few times that made things strange about Bell Witch Cave. The inside of the Bell Witch Cave hard pointy shape rocks that just surrounded the cave from top to bottom it had bats hanging upside down from the top of the cave, some bats would go and come …show more content…
from the cave. Skeletons were scattered all over the rocky surface looked as if the monster has been feeding and killing humans for a few years. The monster that lives in Tennessee for two years murdering people of the community because of all the anger the monster had built up inside of him. No one never really knew why he was just such an angry, scary creature that took it out on people that lived in Tennessee. “ I need a family who is like me and understands me to live with me,” said the monster of Bell Witch Cave. Very next morning the monster went to go hunt down his creator that abandoned a year ago the creator was named Kyle. The monster walked to the next town from Tennessee called Knoxville. Took the monster about two days to get to Knoxville on foot. Finally, in an early Thursday morning the monster got to the small town where Kyle lived and stalked him till he was home. “Kyle how have you been?’’ “ What are you doing here in Knoxville?” said Kyle with a frighten voice. The monster answered “ I need your help and want you to find a way to create a family for me since I am very lonely in my cave and need company and monsters who I can relate to.” Kyle hesitated for a few minutes just thinking about if he should listen and help the monster with his problem. “Ok I will help get rid of all the depression you have inside by creating a family if you promise not to hurt anybody or hurt me.” Said Kyle. The monster was full of excitement and respected their agreement. “I will start in about three days we will create this family back at Bell Witch Cave so the community here in Knoxville will not know our secret and get disturbed.” Kyle explained to the monster as both the young man and monster traveled back to the cave for two days both had gotten some rest and started early the next morning and searched for anything that will help bring his family to life. Kyle and the monster went for a hike trying to find any animal they could that was fresh and dead sometimes the monster would have to try his best to catch and kill an animal so Kyle could collect all the parts inside the animal to stuff inside a human that has been dead. All the living parts, both Kyle and the monster started back to Bell Witch Cave to bring the monster’s family back from the dead. “We need to get busy so I can get this over with and get out of this creepy place” Kyle said to the monster. “I’m going to need your help has much as possible so we can finish quickly and no one from back will be suspicious of why I have been gone for quite awhile” the monster just glanced at his creator and nodded his head. What made everything so disgusted and scary is how Kyle would take all the parts that were collected and attached them inside the human body to make all the organs working to bring the monster family to life.
Kyle took all three hearts and placed it with the wife and two kids for helping Kyle the monster felt sick to his stomach by connecting everything together with all the weird and disturbing tools Kyle was using to all the blood shooting every gave Kyle and the monster goose bumps. After the heart was connected to everything that helped the heart began to start pumping. Time past Kyle and the monster didn’t afford to waste anytime the family was starting to look healed and getting closer by the minute till Kyle had brought the monster’s family to life. “ We are all set your family should come to life any minute now after two years of our had work” Kyle told his creation “ahhhh” screamed all three of them “ we were dead and now we are alive” said the kids “ how did you bring us back to earth?” asked the monster’s wife. “Well me and the monster here beside me, I created a year ago helped one another bring you has a family back to life for this one spooky monster” Kyle shortly explained to the wife and their two
children. After the explanation that Kyle had to give he picked up all his belongings and headed back to town and stayed in a hotel till his trip back home to Knoxville. “ Wait Kyle before you leave back home, I couldn’t be more appreciative for taking the time to give me what I want just so I can be happy.” “Well you are welcome I wish you all the best now I better start heading to town for some rest before it’s time for me to head back home.” Kyle told the monster nicely. Before Kyle could ever head back to check in to a hotel the monster felt so bad for treating and scaring Kyle a year ago for having depression built up inside. So the monster couldn’t help but ask if Kyle can stay and hear the monster out about how sorry he is for disrespecting Kyle. “I am truly thankful for the time you had taken just to create more monsters like me so that I can be happy and move on with life, on the other hand, I just want to apologize for the way I have treated you a year ago it’s ok if you don’t accept this apology, I give to you Kyle you have healed my problems that have caused me to be so angry to those I have murdered I just wanted to say that I am scary for not appreciating you and scaring you away.” “ I’m really surprised that you apologized for what you did wrong really gains a lot of my respect it was nice getting to do this experiment you I’ve got to get some rest now I’ll see you soon.” A few years have past and the monster and his family have been on good terms living their life as Bell Witch Cave Tennessee the monster’s has had a lot of change that has happened with him and his personal issues. The monster is no longer depressed about being alone because he knows that he has a family he can count on and relate to all because of what his creator has done for him. Because of the good things that have come the monster’s way all his anger have been released from him and don’t feel a bit depressed his emotions have been full of happiness because he’s finally around monsters that are similar to him. After Kyle and the monster leaving each other on good terms they reunited a few months from the time they were with each other creating the other three monsters. “Hi Kyle how are you?” the monster asked Kyle “I have been really well good to see that you are doing really well.” Kyle said to the monster. “Yes I have been well my feelings have been better than it has been the past few years, and I still kept that promise about not making any more crimes since I have a monster family Kyle.” “ Well I’m just so ecstatic to hear that there hasn’t been anymore crimes here in Tennessee lets keep it that way wouldn’t want people to turn against you and chase after your family to ruin everything just keep it peaceful; well I have got to get back now I really to need sleep before I travel back to Knoxville.” After the conversation with Kyle and the monster had about how life was with the family really mad both really happy and get a lot off of both their chest. The sun rose bright and early the very next morning it was time for Kyle to head back to so he can get back to his life in Knoxville. Both left each other on good terms and lived a good life with joy and happiness.

Other main points in this paper include the 19th Unnamed Cave, the mud glyph art that it contains, and how the mud glyph contributes to the understanding of mud glyph assemblage preservation, and it helps illuminates the chronological placement of the art form. The cave is located in northern Alabama with a cave mouth of 25 m in diameter and with more than 5 km of underground passageways. The article hypothesized that since the entrance of the cave had some fluvial action, there would no archaeological material that would have been preserved.
The Bullfrog Valley gang was a notorious counterfeiting ring that operated in the wilderness of Pope County during the depression of the 1890’s.The gang’s origin and and methods were mysterious, but the New York Times reported ist demise on June 28, 1897.The remote valley, which follows Big Piney Creek from Long Pool to Booger Hollow, was named for Chief Bullfrog, a Cherokee Who, according to legend, settled there after his tribe’s forced removal from Georgia (the Trail of Tears by the Indian Removal Act of 1830. The Bullfrog Valley, an unincorporated community not typically recognized on current Arkansas state maps, is located along the Big Piney Creek near the community of Silex. According to Dumas, historically the
Firstly, with Hickory Hollow is the disappearing crayfish in Ribbon Cave. This problem, it seems, is the result of heavy metals found in the water. The heavy metals were found at the site of Ribbon Cave, as well as the northern portion of Aram Creek. We tested for heavy metals at well sites G, I, L, M, and S for heavy metals, with the only positives being well sites I and L. Nevertheless, this still confirmed our theory. The heavy metals found in the water have most likely resulted from Compara Corp’s hazardous waste spills, a problem that has occurred multiple times. The heavy metals found in the water being lead, tin, copper, and ammonia would then be highly probable. To fix this problem the answer is simple, “The answer, according to the agency and an outside expert, is twofold: treatment and dilution” (Pappas, 1). Treating the water is simple: the water needs the acidity to be reduced. After that is done, you must dilute the water (add water to the creek). However, the problems will never fully go away, but they will be greatly decreased. In conclusion, in order to save the lives of the crayfish, Hickory Hollow must treat Aram Creek in order to strip the heavy metals.
What is scaly, creepy, 50 feet long, and swims in the world's most notorious lake? If you said The Loch Ness Monster, then you’re correct! The Loch Ness Monster, mostly known as the creature Nessie, is a huge, “mythical” creature that has been scaring the people of Ireland for centuries, but this monster is actually real.
The entire tour requires a lot of walking, so wearing tennis shoes is recommended. Dress prepared for a cool environment because while inside the cave you will experience temperatures from 50-60 degrees. As you walk along the tour of the Bristol Caverns, a tour guide will inform you about the history of the cave: such as the original entrance place to the caverns used by the Cherokee Indians and how an early pioneer would store his fruit in the cave for extended freshness (tour guide). While the guide leads you through the cave of the caverns, you can view many formations and scenes. The formations are called stalagmites and stalagtites, which are created by the moisture and minerals in the cave hardening. One inch of these formations lengths can take from 150-300 years to form (tour guide). During the tour you will venture through different levels of the cave.
One of the most well-known urban legends told is the story of Bigfoot. Much of the research has shown that there are several names assigned to the mammoth ape. According to Napier (1973), Bigfoot would be the creature found mostly in Northwest America, Sasquatch would be a creature named in British Colombia, the 49th parallel in the north-west states of America and Northern California, and the Abominable Snowman, or the Yeti would be the creature named in the Himalayas. Of course, “Wild Man” and “Savage” have also been names used to identify the creature. There’s been thousands of sightings across the world, but there have also been many misidentifications where those who think they have seen Bigfoot have really just seen an ordinary animal or person. Arment (2006) states an individual’s perception may color the eyewitness account. Such misidentifications include: hermits, fugitives, refugees, bears, gorillas, and simply people making up stories or rumors. In addition to sightings, there have been photos, videos, movies, and TV shows that strongly indicates the possibility of the existence of this creature. Though there is much evidence from sightings, myths, and recordings that Bigfoot exists, there is also much proof that it could all be a hoax. Incorrect sightings have led skeptics to argue over the existence of this being stating Bigfoot is really just a fable. So one has to ask oneself, does Bigfoot really exist or is it just another urban legend?

The Bell Witch is the most common name for a well-known haunting that occurred in Red River, Tennessee, which is now known as Adams. The Witch is also known as “Old Kate” or “Kate Batts’s ghost” due to the belief that the Bell family was targeted after Batts laid a curse upon his family. She is described as a woman that “possessed no greater height than most average women but certainly greater girth. The flesh of her upper arms were as thick as a young man’s thighs. She also possessed enormous quantities of bright red hair and freckles.” Batts was a hardworking person that took on the many responsibilities of her family farm after her husband was involved in an accident which crushed his legs. It was believed by a small group in the
Bats could easily enter and exit the cave. Later, when developers decided to turn the cave into a show cave, they made a special entrance so bats could enter and exit at will. Mystery Cave is in danger of losing their bats from White Nose Syndrome (WNS). This disease is caused by a fungus that grows on the bat’s nose, turning it white. So far, no bats in Mystery Cave have been impacted from WNS, but WNS has impacted bats in Wisconsin. Bats aren’t the only difference between Mystery Cave and Niagara Cave.
Imagine a group of people, prisoners, who had been chained to stare at a wall in a cave for all of their lives. Facing that wall, these prisoners can pass the time by merely watching the shadows casted from a fire they could not see behind them dance on the walls. These shadows became the closest to what view of reality the prisoners have. But what happens after one of these prisoners is unbound from his chains to inspect beyond the wall of shadows, to the fire and outside the cave? How would seeing the world outside of the walls of the cave affect his views of the shadows and reality? It is this theme with its questions that make up Plato’s Allegory of the Cave. It is in Plato’s Allegory of the Cave that there are several key ideas presented in the allegory. The ideas presented in the allegory can be related back to themes of education and the gaining of knowledge and in ways that can relate back to “us”, the people.
Built in 1910 by Hezekiah Eastman Hatch, Hatch’s Camp (later named St Ann’s Retreat, but most commonly known as The Nunnery) has had plenty of time to surface mysterious tragedy information. Many of these stories are told by local teens/young adults to visitors, many of which attend Utah State and are intrigued by the information given. The variations of the story ranges anywhere from Nuns bearing devil children, to Ghost Dogs chasing you if you trespass or even the children born to the Nuns being killed or scarified in the pool or fireplace. Though they make great ghost stories while camping up in the canyon, the facts behind Hatch’s Camp will make this story seem less spooky.
I awoke, frightened and alone, with a monster standing beside my bed. Although my body was paralyzed with fear, my mind was awake, trying to figure out how this hideous creature could have found me. As I gazed into the hypnotizing, dark eyes of this giant, the room altered, and I found myself, once again, in the basement of my father’s house. Surrounded with medical equipment, a rush of adrenaline pulsed through my tired body, forcing it awake. The monster walked slowly through the room, dragging his long, boney finger along the table. I remembered this basement very well, as I spent a great deal of time occupying it; however, there was something different, something was missing, something had changed. I couldn’t quite put my finger on it. Before I could spot the difference, an odd aroma began filling the air, making it somewhat difficult to breathe. Once again I found myself spinning, falling through a dark tunnel with no sense of direction or time, I closed my eyes tightly. Whenever the spinning sensation concluded, I opened my eyes. The aroma was stronger here, forcing tears out of my eyes and my dinner back up my throat. I knew exactly where I was…

There was an impending doom coming to the small town of Calamity. Unbeknownst to the citizens it would come firstly upon a church on the outskirts of a town. A few people were inside as the doom came closer. Preacher Tom was the first one in the church to sees what would haunt the town and was scared out of his wits. He pushes a young woman out of the doorway as he speeds into the church. He continues to bar the door and close up all of the windows as the surprised group stares on at him with suspicion. He dropped to his knees and prayed as a loud noise echoed through the building. The crowd began to scream as the windows rattled and the building swayed. All of a sudden, a whimper could be heard from the back side of the building. The sound was unmistakable, it was the tiny voice of little Lisa Cunningham. Mrs. Hamm hobbled quickly over to the door before anyone else could react. She threw the door open as Father Ted finally came to his senses. Lisa flung herself through the door into the arms of Mrs. Hamm. Father Ted lunged for the door and slammed his shoulder into it right before an unknown force bashed against the other side. Mrs. Hamm grasped the child as and attempted to console her as a sharp pain erupted in her breast. She looked down and saw a dark stain growing on her blue dress and jerked the child away. Everyone’s eyes went wide as they saw the scene unfolding before them. Lisa stood smiling; face covered in blood, and began to laugh hysterically. Mrs. Hamm was becoming hysterical as well, as she noticed that one side of her chest had become smaller than the other as a huge chunk had been bitten away by the child.
